Totally have to disagree with Mimic and Morph. I played them last night, and Morph by himself took down half the Wrecking Crew. True he had Auto Regen, but he never got there. Granted good dice rolls were a factor as well, hitting LOTS of Shape Change rolls.
As for Mimic...he's a terror. He laid a BEAT DOWN on Avengers Ult Hulk by himself and came out on top. Good Super Sense and Regen rolls helped there. And for both, I didn't have any TK'ers or multiple Perplexers and we played on the Arena map...I think both could EASILY get and extra smiley for the sealed event no question.
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
Fabian Cortez fixes other charactors in the set like Cyclops, and Morph for instance now Cyclops's psychic blast is potentially doin 6 damage. You better put a healer on your team because without a damage reducing power Cortez can chip way at a charactor really fast.
I really like the Hulk more than just three out of five. It's tricky, but if you can get to that 19 it lasts a loong time. I played a 400 point game against three teams that had among them Prof. X, Mimic, Monolith, Danger, Box, Giant-Zombie, and the High Evolutionary. My two Hulks stuck it out for a very very long time. My second Hulk took out Mimic and Gambit, but finally succumbed to a Giant HE, who was the last figure standing.
Well worth 143 points IMO. As for sealed play, there's options for cheap TK to get Hulk into the thick of things, plus he can be carried into battle, unlike those pesky Giants.

@antonio.clark.art is my instagram.take a look and tell me what you think....be blessed!!!
I also think Beast deserves at least a 3 - a dial full with good support powers and decent numbers is definitely worth playing. He may not be a frontline fighter, but he can definitely handle himself in battle - that late dial Flurry/Perplex combo can come as a nasty surprise for anyone foolish enough to engage him in close combat.
Also, to further back up Melkhor, I want to point out that "knockback" is not an official game term. Here is the relevant section from the rulebook:

When a player rolls doubles on the dice on a successful attack roll (except for two 1s, which never succeed), the target is knocked back after any damage taken from the attack is applied. Knock back represents a character being thrown backward by the force of an attack. Certain powers and team abilities might knock back a character or prevent a character from being knocked back. Check for those powers and team abilities before taking damage from the attack.
A knocked back character is moved back one square for each 1 damage taken. Move the character in a straight line away from the attacking character—called the knock back path—even if that path is on a diagonal. If multiple characters take damage from an attack,
power, or game effect that causes knock back, resolve the knock back starting with the character farthest from the attacker. If an attack, power, or game effect knocks back a target
that is not along a straight line from the attacker, the target is knocked back away from the attacker along a straight vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line chosen by the attacker.
There is more, but this should be more than enough to prove my point: Not once is the term "knockback" used, it is always "knock back" - and it clearly is two words, as evidenced by the number of grammatical changes applied in the underlined sentences.
Has anyone seen a case where Giant-man was a good anti-Mimic piece? I figure the Outwit that can see over other figures would be handy to shut off Mimic's HSS, which seems to be the whole reason people are touting Mimic so heavily. I personally don't tend to use HSS figures that much, so the whole "HSS hit and run and you will totally win!!!!11" line doesn't do much for me. The fact that you can X-men heal him is annoying, but if you can put enough damage on him it will take your opponent a while to get him back up to top (or else burn through multiple other x-men).
Yeah. You know, really, for a Hulk with no Special Abilities, this would have been the PERFECT place for Doomsday's "Unstoppable" SA, only with Toughness instead of Invulnerability. Just place a click of it on his second click, that way he can Banner all he wants, or push off of it, without having to worry about being knocked past his second click.
While a good solution, I'm not sure that would help his effectiveness. When you're paying over 100 points for a fig who offers nothing but Perplex and tie-up abilities, you really need to re-evaluate your strategy.
I have to disagree about korg. Aside from the lack of charge (which he deserved) he is decent for his cost. He is excellent master mind fodder with that stretch of damage reducers, he has a consistent 3 damage and capable of doing 3 or more damage his dial save for one click. He can triple as, MM fodder, secondary attacker and a good tie up piece.

And here, I agree with Azs' review of Korg.
Bagman - you're right Korg is great as Mastermind fodder (second to miek & brood).
I used him in the pre-release but couldn't hit anything with him. Mastermind is about the only thing he's good for, and I'd rather have somebody else (miek/brood) who's less points fill that roll while tying up the badguys and working as secondary attackers.

He could be the greatest MM fodder piece in the game, unfortunately there are 4 figs in the whole set with Mastermind (and they all have it via Special Power btw.) All of whom are also grounded figs. So ideal MM foder for them would be a flying brick (a-la Brood.)
For a secondary attacker or a tie up piece, there are several figs in the set that fill either or both rolls for as little as half of Korg's cost.
