But essentially the Sinestro Corps was defeated, Anti-Monitor blew the heck up, Superboy Prime was tossed into the multi-verse, Sinestro was arrested (and was just fine with that fact).

The Oans viewed the entire war as the beginning of a terrible prophecy (introduced way back when by Alan Moore) called Final Night, and so began re-writing the book of OA with new rules in order to counter it.

In the bits of prophecy we've seen, there is a great war among different colored ring bearing armies, each representing a different emotion of sentient life. The final threat would be the Black Ring bearers, who are scary. OOOOOH

2 Oans disagreed and broke off, deciding to start a new Color Team, the blues (hope).

Some unknown beings lured the Anti-Monitor's corpse to an unknown planet and encased a big black shrine around him, using him as the initial power battery for the Black Corps. Black rings shot out through the galaxy, some landing in a graveyard and seemingly being clutched by Undead Black Lanterns!

FINAL NIGHT IS COMING! OH NO!

All in all, it was much much cooler than what I just wrote.

Accelerate... to LUDICROUS SPEED!

So I really enjoyed this big crossover event-can't say that for many others in recent years.Loved the art and storytelling.Loved the intro to the new mood colored rings and their potential for great stories in the future.Loved the SMALLPOX GL-can't recall the name.Loved the sacrafices made.Loved Sinestro and Hal and Kyle"s little donnybrook.
I can't recall specifics without the book in front of me and the events I describe may have happened in the epilogue so bear with me.Was Killowog's visit with his family real?I thought they were dead and it may have been MOGO allowing him to revisit a better time-am I way off?I loved the reforging of the rings-400 recast into twelve-or again am I way off?If not WHO gets the Big Dozen?I love Natu and believe she is the next Lantern we need in clix form.The GLs need their medic!!!
