And the criminal element is not only glad it doesn't, cause they're covered in that webbing often, but, also, they're glad he isn't "Skunk-Man". That'd just stink.
The worst thing about the OMD storyline is how much it really ruins any momentum of stories from the last year. Civil War was awful, but Spidey was showing some potential of growing as a character. If May dies, that could cause real change in Peter, force him into new directions. What happens with the Kingpin? They set up some great stories there, and then just flushed them down the toilet. Some decent stories and interesting cutting edge stuff could have happened, especially with the new team coming on, Spidey could have been amazing once again. But, instead they hit a reset button to tell stories that we have already seen and read before. I just hated it, if anything good comes from it, I will be surprised.

There is no such thing as a conservative hero.

Yeah, upon reading reviews about this I am disgusted with the outcome. I think its time for Joe Q to get fired after this debacle. Its just moronic and childish. I actually liked the organic webshooters, the increased strength and whatever other new powers he got, he needed a boost in that department. Resetting everything by using the devil is something an 8 year old would do if they were writing a comic book and wanted to write their own version of a story. Seriously, its pathetic and granted I don't buy as many comics as I used to, screwing up my favorite character has cut my list down even further. It just makes no sense to do what they did. I really hope it leads to some changes at Marvel, because they have put out a lot of garbage over the years, but this takes the cake.
