It was suggestive, although having read the actual script for the issue I can definitively tell you the intention wasn't sexual so much as sensual.
In fact I recall it being written in the script as a massage.
And the extra ridiculous thing about that issue was the main plot was Whirlwind working up the nerve to rape and potentially kill the Wasp.
And he kill a prostitute he dresses up as her 1st!
The idea that consenting sexuality/sensuality between 2 adults (who were married for years no less!) is more of a no-no than murder and rape is beyond outrageous.
People really need to get their values straightened out.
I was a little extra bummed out by it all as I'm a massive Hank Pym fan and it was the best Hank story we've had since he beat the tar outta Ultron, and it was the 1st and last time my finance got in on the action and posed for Steve as well.
She was Janet and the ho, and I was Hank/Whirl wind.
That part where Whirlwind says "I gotta get me a taste of that honey" and licks her?
That was my influence on the book!
Not in the script and 100% Hartley Holmberg (my actual name) induced!
I wasn't saying the Jan and Hank stuff was worse than the Whirlwind stuff... just more memorable. And Whirlwind is presented as a villain, so it's already established that the things he does are bad. Usually people are more upset by the idea of good guys doing "inappropriate" things than bad guys doing downright evil things. A good example being the uproar about Wiccan and Hulkling being gay in Young Avengers or Batwoman being a lesbian. That stuff offends people more than the Joker shooting Barbara Gordon in the stomach, paralyzing her, stripping her down, taking pictures, and showing them to her bound and gagged father.
It really doesn't make sense.
And also, I think you mean to say "it was the 1st and last time my fiance got in on the action..."
But I could be wrong, and maybe your finance did pose as the Wasp. I hear Jan is quite wealthy after all...
HeroClix needs more Goblin.
Acceptable in such forms as Green, Grey, Demo, Hob, Ultimate, and "Menace."
BTW- having looked at that issue again, it's clearly more then a massage that Hank gives Jan. After all, he'd been in her vagina, and came out soaking wet.
He forgot Adam Warlock (not Wraith) and Cosmo the psychic, Russian, cosmonaut canine.
I missed that before! Cosmo's in it? WWWIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!

No, he was sweaty.
Thats literally me and my gal you're talking about, and again I read the damg script!
Nobody had the intention of depicting and actual sexual act rather than an intimate moment, but believe what you want.
It was suppossed to be a massage dude.
I boggles my mind how many people out thier flat out refuse to believe the truth in that case...
(although you could just be kidding around, incredibly hard to tell on this dang interwebnet)
And yeah good ol quick use of spell check altered my mis-spelt fiance into finances and I didn't notice, lol!

Well, in the old days, a girl's parents paid the groom a dowery, so, in a sense, it would be your finance's in some way or another if you were being paid.

Well she is the finacially stable side of our relationship...
Maybe it was more Freudian slip than I thought...
You're talking about the character whose original miniseries was critically acclaimed and whose first appearance in New Avengers led to one of the most awe inspiring splash page images in modern comics history? Wow, some people don't have taste at ALL.
You're right, I have no taste for cheap ripoffs. And I haven't trusted critics for years.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
I disagree.
Magus has never acted anywhere near noble and decent.
Warlocks Warlock, they just thought to finally make his abilities match up with his name me thinks.
Maybe acted more like Warlock early on before appearing in the original Starlin story if the 70's.

Because he flies, wears a cape and is super strong means he is just like Superman . Personality and characterization means nothing in comics, I forgot.

now if only sentry had either of those
i will say im looking forward to some of that stuff too. especially guardians of the galaxy, despite it not being the REAL guardians, im hoping it has at least an arc or 2 with the originals, that might lead to more with them...plus its got cosmo!

I hope Nova interacts with them some how and recruits Justice to join the team. Just to make a connection between the two versions of the team.
Oh, you mean the hesitant, paranoid personality that those who haven't read his books don't actually realize exists because they're too busy bashing him without reading the material?
