My guess is that they are going to be making a bunch of changes to New Earth (Batman going nuts and being replaced, ect.), but they will make Earth One which will be the same that we have always known.

Something like that.

Actually, that's a good point.

So, perhaps what they're saying with the "52-1=0" line is more cryptic.

Another way of stating that equation is: 52 + -1 = 0.

Maybe the '52' are the known universes, the '-1' is the Anti-Matter Universe, and the '=0' is when the 52 is combined with the Anti-Matter universe, all are destroyed ...
