It's a solicit for a reprint of Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe. It managed to have typos for "pencils", "Skrull", and "Available". Check out the newest issue of the Marvel Previews book if you want to see it for yourself.
Oh, I saw that with the second link, scrolled down and saw that and a few other odd things. I did take note of that one tho. I didn't know it was the one you meant... and I happen to like that story, but I have a PDF of it, so, no need for me to buy it.
Ultimate Spider-Man #122 has Peter captured by the Shocker. It was a little sad seeing someone like him get the drop on Spider-Man, but since he's a kid I suppose I can let it slide. He roughs up Peter while MJ finds Kitty and tells her about how Peter was captured right in front of her. Kitty goes to a police officer and they track down the Shocker to the usual abandoned warehouse lair. While that was going on, Peter managed to struggle free and Kitty keeps Peter from pulping Shocker's face. The cops show up and wrap things up. We also get an interesting origin story for the Shocker which almost makes me feel a bit sympathetic to him. Almost.
I loved the issue. I love stories where they show that even the biggest loser villains can be a threat given the opportunity. I really hope to see something interesting done with Beetle and Boomerang when they bring them into the comic. They were both in the Ultimate Spidey video game, but they haven't been seen in the comics yet, as far as I know.

Acceptable in such forms as Green, Grey, Demo, Hob, Ultimate, and "Menace."
No comments on 1985? I think this series is going to be a good one personally.
As for NA, it had a few interesting bits. Like telling that they had agents in the NA from the start. (Plurral.) So it looks like Spider-Woman was swapped out pretty early on, and Jarvis' green eyes in NA 3 were intentional.
I read 1985, and it was pretty enjoyable. It seems that this kid whose real life is filled with separation and isolation finds that some Comic characters, mostly villains at this point from the MU are appearing in his world. The story reminds you of what Comics used to be like, there is a lot of curiosities going on in this book.
One of the best panels had to be when the mole man tries to give away a mint comic book collection, and the kid notices the Red Skull peering at him through an upstairs window. Very cool moment. I'll be reading this one a bit longer. Good stuff by Millar.
I'd rate this an 8.
It seems that all of Millar's work is going to function as some kind of crossover. Not sure how I feel about that, but I'm digging most of the work so far, so I might just be reading all of them anyway.
I'm tired of Spiderman keeping his options open with Kitty. "You were an awesome girlfriend Kitty"....yeah get her hopes up!! he seems to be getting closer and closer to that KittyWatson sandwich.
I'm excited to see Ultimate Beetle to.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
he should be showing up in the next few books, since he has a part in the symbiotes arc story.

Knowing Bendis and Marvel's whole "Peter's a loser and that's what makes him identifiable" mindset, what'll actually happen is that Peter will keep his options open with Kitty, who will at the same time become friends with MJ, and then the next time MJ dumps Peter, he'll go running to Kitty, only to find she's the reason MJ left, and her and MJ are hooking up. And then he'll get all emo about it, and maybe make a deal with Ultimate Mephisto.

And the deal would be for Pete to have both girls at the same time.
Amazing Spider-Man #561 - Yes, I'm still reading it. In this issue, Paper Doll attacks Bobby Carr and his secret Hollywood girlfriend Mary Jane Watson, but Spidey is there to be Paparazzi and take pictures of them, so he manages to stop her. Mary Jane escapes to the panic room and speaks over the low quality loudspeakers from there, so Peter never actually finds out it's her. She mentions that she knew him "in another life." He does get pics of her and Bobby, but after Robbie quits the DB, Pete realizes what's wrong with what he's doing and destroys the picture. Then all his friends (including Harry) help him move in to his new place. His new roommate Vin tries to tell Carlie he likes her again, but she seems more interested in Pete, who gives her a peck on the cheek for her help. And on Mary Jane's way out of town, Sara Ehret asks her for an autograph, and specifically asking her to write her famous "you just hit the jackpot" line on it. Sara Ehret, is, of course, the name Jackpot said was her secret identity, who later than denied it. She says she's a huge fan of MJ's.
So... questions raised... does Mary Jane remember her life before Mephisto? Is that what the "in another life" comment meant? And is Sara Ehret really Jackpot, and she just modeled herself after MJ? Or is MJ Jackpot?
I hate to say it, but I'm actually interested. Although I have a huge weakness for anything Spider-Man related.
