You forget there was a ground section to the game - Crimson Skies Aces.
There are two maps that could be used in HC.
Zeppelin map
Airfield map
Granted, most individuals were only tokens in Aces, but there were clix figures for the aces.
CS maps I have appear to match the few HC maps I have in scale.
Is there someone here that is well familiar with both who can make a ruling?

I think the wise and powerful ol_Dut had mentioned these maps in Armourgeddon2K's original map inventory "post" (as this thread is a welcome reposting of the info A2K diligently compiled and posted in someone else's thread), and I did track them down, for the sheer, mad completism of it...
They are indeed compatible with HeroClix figures (as the squares are 1.5" x 1.5" - the same size as on HC / HrC maps), and they fit the profile of the older maps (now retired and no longer tourney-legal), as they have no color designations for terrain features, etc...
I'd be happy to provide measurements, and possibly some awful, lo-res pix (sorry, that's all I can manage...) if A2K is interested in featuring the info in this thread...
Please let me know, Paul, and I'll get 'er done!
Be well,
-jason

I think so Jason - I'll add after the Horrorclix maps - I could never get 100 % reliable info before but if you send I'll add

Okay, so each of the two maps (I'm going to call them 'Hangar' and 'Airfield') are 30" x 19.5" (that is, 20 squares by 13 squares). I took a photo of each, and will post them later tonight, when I can get them off the camera and resize them, etc...
Are there any other maps you'd like photos of (assuming you like how these turn out)? I think I have all of them on your list...
LMK, and be well,

Hi Paul -
I sent you a quick p.m. regarding map pix.
Just wanted to mention it here, in case you don't check your Inbox very frequently.
Take care,
-jason
A lot of the sites that did have the files are shut down now. The old Wizkids site most obviously.
Many realmsters copied these files and have them so you could get with a shout out .
The new Neca/wizkids site has some PDFs and so does the horrorclix link in the Map list.

I have a few on StarkTower, but not a big selection by any means. As I come across them, I add them.
I remember a map we used to use that was basicly a lake in the middle of a forest. There were a couple buildings that were elevated. I was very plain but for some reason I had better luck on this map. I guess it much have been from another game.
