Nothing new really. It seems that some people on the thread think that regular ole' 616 Jean Grey is the Red Queen. (Can't be because she is dead) Red Queen is a Jean Grey from an alternate earth who took madelyn pryors place to trick X-man (not marvel boy like I said before) into ruling the world with her. It took both Nate and 616 Jean to defeat her, but I guess shes back. She may play tricks on the Scott/Emma thing to test their relationship, but this isn't a jean in love with scott.

While you're correct about Red Queen - assuming it's the one that's previously appeared - I have to ask...do you really think Jean Grey is fully dead? I mean isn't she the ultimate example of the "X-Men never stay dead." cliche?
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

Yes, actually I do think she is fully dead. Why do you say she is the example of the X-men stay dead? Shes been dead since Magneto gave her the "earth shattering heartattack" years ago. Yeah they threw the whole "phoenix" is back blockbusters, but phoenix really just used her body and got put to rest by the imprints of Jean over and over. I can't really count that because she never joined the team and went on missions and the like. Besides I though there was some clause that said as long as Rachel was alive Jean won't be around. We can't have 2 "phoenix" personas so Jean will do the right thing and stay dead (or rather look for phoenix fragments in limbo) while her daughter leads a healthy lifestyle.
Red Queen will probably pretend she is 616 Jean or Madelyne, since she can actually preprogram her mind and put limits on her powers, but i doubt she'll be Jean reborn.
You know Dazzler is actually the "X-men never stay dead" girl. They have yet to explain that I got killed and am back 5 minutes later thing.
PUNISHER #61 - The new era begins with a new writer and cover artist. Very much a set up issue with a storyline dealing with a similiar subject as MANHUNTER over in DC.
A group is kidnapping and killing women in a Mexico border town. Pretty far from New York but a citizen of the town jumps the border and tracks down the Punisher (S.H.I.E.L.D. always seems to have their problems tracking him down but this guy doesn't?) for help which in the end he obliges.

While I'd agree that the "Red Queen" is most likely the "Alternate Evil Jean" from X-Man, I'd definitely disagree with your reasoning. If they go they way I think they are with the fallout of Messiah CompleX (most notably the new mutant baby), Jean is most definitely no longer dead, and very well could be the Red Queen.

Or it's Maddie Pryor come back to haunt everyone. Or even both. Spooky.
I haven't met the woman yet who prefers Blondes to Brunettes.
Will we see a 616 version of Ultimate Cap stealing another man's wife (and make you wonder why such a pairing never occurred before?)?
You mean 616 Cap hooking up with Jean Grey? I dont' think she's legally married. Even if she never divorced Scott, the thing is, Scott was previously married to Maddie, and he thought Maddie dead when he married Jean, but, Maddie came back. Jean will probably come back. Scott is a bigamist. He should be put in jail for that.
As for Jean and Cap hooking up... not a bad idea, actually.
2. It's "until death do you part," so it really isn't cheating at all.
1. To be fair, she was making goo-goo eyes at Wolverine first, and mentally cheating with him before Scott and Emma.
2. So it doesn't count hackneyed plot contrivence resurrection via inter dimmensional cosmic being body snatched deja-vu esque plot lines? Gad, marriage just isn't what it used to be.
Maybe it's me, but I enjoyed the idea of Cap and Scarlet Witch, I could enjoy the thought of Cap and Jean Grey (I think having a super powered girl friend would work much better with him then tedious damsel in distress). Although I do like Sharon Carter....'eh...
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"
No way is Red Queen Jean Grey.... they just wouldn't bring her back that way after all that has happened. I sort of assumed it was Madelyne Pryor, since the last I remember she was still alive and with the Hellfire Club?
Just like DC wouldn't bring back Jason Todd after his climatic death at the hands of the Joker?
I mean, it's the exact same situation, look:
Jean (2003): Dies an epic death against X-Men's most hated villian (Who actually wasn't!).
Jason (1992): Killed by Joker, Batman feels guilty since.
Jason (2005?): Comes back without notion and begins supervillian'ing.
Jean (2008): (Maybe) Comes back without notion and begins supervillian'ing.
No way would Jean just come back evil for the sake of being evil. I have to read more of Uncanny, but you heard it here first!!
Good thought on the messiah aspect....the only flaw is that Jean would be to Old at this point when she would meet the young Bishop kid (since she is supposedly from his timeline) and throw him in the concentration camp.
Cap does need a Super powered Girlfriend for sure. Having Jean be it would certainly have him bump heads with Wolverine and maybe even Tony (since he hasn't slept with a "mutie" yet). Interesting, but it would have her join the Avengers and all that jazz (which is what I've kinda wanted forever. Too much drama at the X house and maybe just maybe her being with Avengers will help X-men come help the Avengers when Big characters like Ultron show up.)
