Brotherhood turn 9a

The genius ape was getting hit hard and becoming enraged. Thrown backward by Starfire's potent blast, Monsieur Mallah was gravely injured, too. No longer completely in control of his animal emotions, Monsieur Mallah bellowed.

Across the vast laboratory, Warp attacked Raven. "C'est ca!" he called triumphantly.


- Brain uses Perplex to decrease Raven's .
- Warp/Vanisher attacks Raven > 7 vs 15 -1 > roll: 3+6=9 HIT. Raven takes 1 damage.

Starfire flew at Mallah, blasting him and causing the beast to yell in pain and anger. Nightwing followed up her attack with several batarangs that stuck into the gorilla's hide but Mallah seemed to ignore them.

Nearby, Raven summoned her soul self to try to catch the teleporter. In his defense, Warp teleported the incoming attack away, severing part of Raven's very soul. A vision of Triggon flashed before the young Titan and sweat poored down her face as she tired to maintain control...

"No!" screamed Mallah. "You can't intrude upon our plans like this." With a batarang still protruding from his shoulder, the gorilla triggered his fearsome machine gun again, spraying bullets around the lab. Several ricocheted off equipment very close to Raven, who was greatly rattled by the danger. A couple of the bullets hit Nightwing, who was trying to recover from his own attack against the Brain and Mallah. "Ungh," groaned Nightwing, as the shots struck him.



- Monsieur Mallah (7) double-targets Nightwing/Robin (16) and Raven (14 +1 (hindering)) > roll: 5+4=9 HITs both/either. Robin takes 3 damage. Brain uses Outwit to counter Regeneration on Raven.

"Watch this guys."

Beast Boy turned into a monkey and juggled a monkey wrench he found on the table. He took it in his back paw and threw it at Warp's head. It bounced off the metal dome with a thud and Warp nearly crashed into the ground.

"Two points! And no hands either."

Meanwhile, Cliff Steele had the ringleaders of the Brotherhood cornered. He punched the ground, hard. Ripping up a huge chunk of the floor, he hefted it over his head.

"I been waiting for years ta get my hands on the two of ya. I outta break your stinkin necks!"

The Robotman tossed the chunk of earth and concrete at the pair, hitting Mallah in the stomach and knocking him out. The ape landed on top of his lover.

"But ya ain't worth the trouble."


Titans 10b

1) Beast Boy throws his LO at Warp. Needs a 6, gets a 6. Super senses if a 4. 2 clicks to Warp.

2) Robotman throws his HO at Mallah and the Brain. Needs a 7, gets an 11. 3 clicks for the KO.

Several of the bullets had gone all the way through Nightwing's body. His body armor wasn't designed to take automatic rounds at point blank. Limping, he used his grappling hook to cross the space of the lab, landing next to Raven.

"You look like you're having a bit of trouble with this guy so I thought I'd give you a hand" Nightwing said with a weak smile.

Raven started to return the smile but thought better of it. She placed her hand on Nightwing's side. The was a small glow as the bulletholes sealed up. Still, he had lost a lot of blood and wasn't nearly at one hundred percent.


Beast Boy put his hand on his friend's shoulder.

"We'll take it from here, Cliff." The Doom Patroler didn't answer. Starfire floated over to them.

"Come, Garfield" she said, motioning for him.

"Well when you put it that way..." Beast Boy's face turned into a golden retriever for a second before he shifted forms into a crow and perched on the tameranian's shoulder.

Titans Turn 11b

1) Nightwing to E8.

2) Raven support on Nightwing. Needs a 6, gets a 7. Support roll is a 3 for a big 1 click of healing. Raven is not on the top of her game this match.

"No! Away from me!"

Raven's soul self wrapped around Warp, holding the teleporter in place. Starfire and Beast Boy flew across the lab to join their teammates. Just as they arrived, Raven's soul released Warp and Beast Boy landed on top of Warp as a papuan python. With his powerful muscles, Gar easily overwhelmed the last member of the brotherhood.

The Titans stood victorious at last.

Titans 13b

1) Raven vs Warp. Needs an 8, gets double 10s. 1 damage to Warp and knock back to H-8.

2) Starfire to I-9. Taxi Beast Boy to H-9.

Cyborg walked towards the rest of the Titans. He was dragging a Haitian man with a headdress behind him. The man was in bad shape but not unconscious. Vic tossed the man next to his fallen teammates.

“Found this idiot sneaking around in the back. His name’s Houngan. Says he knows voodoo but if you ask me, he’s just a human punching bag in a silly costume.”

“&#%$ you!” the Haitian spat. “I cannot create voodoo dolls to work on someone I haven’t seen before. Next time we meet, metal man, I will ki-” the man stopped as he noticed Starfire standing over him. For all her beauty, Houngan knew this wasn’t a woman he wanted to mess with. Her hands were balled tightly into fists which glowed with red energy.

“Tell us what you know!” Starfire demanded. “Where have you taken the Rita Farr and the Chief?”

The Haitian shrunk back.

“W-what are you talking about? Rita Farr is dead. If we had the Chief, he’d be dead too.”

“LIAR!” Robotman bellowed, grabbing the villain by the throat with both hands. “We saw your friend Zahl’s robots take them!”

There was a laugh from the pile of defeated brotherhood members.

“You stupid Americans. Ve do not work with zee traitor Zahl. You came all zis way…for nothing!”

“Traitor?”

“Oui. Zee fool stole some of zee Brain’s research. ‘E planted a bomb to kill us all. But zee Brotherhood is not so easy to kill.”

“If you hate this Zahl guy so much” Cyborg said, cracking his knuckles. “Why don’t you tell us where we can find him?”

As the Titans spoke with their prisoners, they failed to notice the man in black watching them from the roof.

“This is Merlyn” the man spoke into his communicator. “You were right. The Titans beat the Brotherhood pretty badly. They're interrogating the bad guys now. It's only a matter of time until they know.” He paused. “Yes, well that’s why we have plan b isn’t it?” Another pause. “Of course. They’ll be here soon.”
