Hawkeye looks at Iron Man. "Are you drunk?"

Iron Man shifts his stance. "Why? do you have any gin?"

Hawkeye looks aghast..."Uhhh...are you all right?"

Iron Man laughs."I built a new heart, why not a new liver, eh Clint?"

Fenris ignored the Golden Avenger's sarcasm and leaned over towards Blade and spoke in an undertone, "I think I'm starting to see why they need us."

Blade watched as Iron Fist entered the room. Danny Rand, he hadn't had much experience with the man, but Blade had heard good things. He listened to the ninja speak.

"We have one of this dimensions greatest mages with us right now, I'm sure he knows a bit more then Juggernaut," Blade nods towards Dr. Strange.

Blade's eyes narrowed behind his sunglasses as the Avengers began to... bicker? This surely couldn't be Earth's Mightiest heroes could it? Blade merely grunted in affirmation at Fenris' comment. Perhaps there was something more sinister at hand, or perhaps Blade was just being paranoid.

"Have you researched the stolen artifacts any further? Are there more like them anywhere in the world? Because that's where are thieves are likely to strike next."

Dr Strange frowns. "This cannot be right!" He shouts, "By the Roving Rings of Ragadorr, I reveal thee!"
With a flash of eldritch light, Iron Man begins to distort, and is revealed as....Morph!

"Well, well if it isn't a little prankster," Says Hawkeye, "take your seat."





Dr Strange Turns to face Blade, Iron Fist, and Fenris. "The Crimson Bands can be cast by many sorcerers, as its magic is one of binding. But to kill with it- That is something only 2 dozen or so humans that I know of could perform. Baron Mordo, my nemisis, has used the Bands before, but he prefers mesmirism to senseless violence."


"Perhaps when we find Electro, we can..persuade him to tell us more about his partners in crime."


Captain America turns, scowling at Morph, "The Artifact in question is an Amulet, incredibly rare. Dr Strange tells me it is needed for some kind of spell?"


"A Ritual, yes. The Amulet of Cthon, when invoked, can allow teleportation, cloaking from my magicks(something I'm sure these villians want), and lastly, It is rumored to have limited necromantic capabilities."

"I believe that before we were-" Fenris shot a look towards Morph, "-sidetracked, the Archer-" he guestured at Hawkeye, "-said that you have a lead."

Fenris stared at Morph a moment, one side of his lip slowly starting to cur. Then he threw his a head back and laughed, a long and loud laugh that echoed throughout the room. As he regained control he told Morph, "No one has ever called me that. You should be back to basic mythology. Knowing Thor doesn't inpress me. Let me tell you two things: One, I am the son of Thor's worst enemy. Two, it is prophesied that that I will slay his father during Rangarok. So," he grinned a feral grin at the former X-Man, "I don't get along with the other Asgardians."

((well, i wondered how i was going to show that he wasn't humorless. this is also a good time to smash the other PCs' preconvied ideas about him .))

::Speedball jumps out of his seat at the sight of seeing that Iron Man was really Morph. Morph juggles them with his 6 arms and hands::

I don't believe we've met. The name's Robbie, or Speedball.

Hawkeye smiles. "Yeah! We are leaving it to...Hey, what are you guys calling yourselves anyway?"

"Trisha Takanawa here reporting live from the 1st bank of New York. We have a hostage situation here, as a group calling themselves the New Masters of Evil have seized the building. We have identified known criminals the Rhino and Electro among them, as well as the hooded mastermind known as Baron Zemo! We also spotted a costumed Spanish man and several gunmen. They state that they have encountered problems breaching the vault and demand that an expert be sent in or the hostages will die. Trisha Takanawa , Channel 6 News."



"Ummm...Avengers Assemble?"

Fenris rose from his seat, "I do believe we have just been invited to come play."
