OK so I got to play this guy for the first time tonight. Amazing sculpt first off. It was a 700 point game, and I played a 'Gotham City' keyword. Swingline, Protected, Maneuver, Lunge and Vault were the feats I played on him. It seemed like a little overkill on the feats (those were the only feats I played on my whole team BTW) but I needed him to last, as he was my main Attacker. I have to say, he was amazing. Beyond amazing actually. If I could give the sculpt an 8, I would. My opponent played a 'Warrior' theme team. 2 (3?) of my figures were KOd before I even got into a position to be able to make an Attack roll. Once Batman got rolling, he never stopped. Charge, Flurry #1, Maneuver, Vault, Flurry #2, Maneuver, Vault, rinse repeat. I never even had to use the Protected card, or the Lunge Card. He took 1 Damage late in the game, and by that time, my opponent was down to his last figure (SI Punisher) and it was academic. I can see this becoming my new favorite figure really fast. Did I mention the sculpt?
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
i gave him all 5's, but i HATE the figure... i havent seen him recently, but for about 3 months i saw (and lost to) him EVERY TOURNAMENT... i just got REAL burnt out on him, and im VERY glad we have characters like Dr. Strange/Captain america to counter-act such terribly good "stealth" figures like this batman.

You just clubbed a baby seal.
I hate it when superman gets tied up with Plastic Man
Don't hate the player, hate the game. Or the figures. Or the dice. Or the map...
Has anybody tried haymaker on him? yeah, it drops his attack to a 9, but there are MANY ways to get around that, especially in unrestricted. it would be funny to see him charge in for a 5 damage and also with flurry. lol. don't know if flurry and haymaker are legal together, but it would be fantastic if they are.
I played him in a 300 point no feats round this weekend in a tourney. And i must say this guy right here won me the game. His special power allowing him to be stealthed on the edge of elevated terrain is just brutal. Basically forces my opponent to base him. Then once they base he has flurry and basically most characters are not going to be able to take the 6 clicks he could possibly dish out and not be hurting after wards.
So overall after my first time playing him, he will probably find his way onto many of my teams, i just cannot wait to play him with feats since there are so many that could work on him. Haymaker is just one that comes to mind.
Chose to straight up buy this guy over buying a brick of the new BatB set, One of the best pieces under 150pts in the game imo, my only problem with him is that he only had the JLA keyword and not Justice League of America keyword, other than that he's perfect.
I played him as part of a Justice League of America team for a 500pt unrestricted event last saturday, (judge ruled that it was still a theme team, even though he's missing the keyword) took 3rd place winning an LE Bruce Wayne. This was the first time I ever placed high enough to win a prize, that victory has completely justified purchasing him for me. Love this fig, 5-stars all around
I thought the JLA and Justice League of America was the same thing, or did I miss something. **Not to sound like I don't know what I'm talking about but it is late, or early....depends on the last time you slept. Anyway, love the piece just to look at it, awesome and I can't wait to play it.
I traded a Sinestro Batman for this piece of awesomeness. I, of course, had to play test him. All I can say is wow. When people hit him for two damage they don't realize that they are doing you a favor. I was doing soo much damage (Perplex up damage, along with flurry), that my opponents had wondered why they hit him with a light attack to begin with. Positioning is vital, and you can't forget to use smoke cloud when you are able to. I think that this is basically how Batman should've been to begin with. He isn't as much of a bargain as JL Batman, but as the main point of your team, he won't fail you. I don't think i'd pass up playing him in any 300-400pt. game.
Sssssooo, i have an offer from a friend to give me lamppost bats for my black lantern martian manhunter.... comments? and i already have the 'cookie monster' jonn jonzz from the same set, soo..
