3 damage flurry seems way too "Spider-Man smash!" to me. I'd replace the flurry with perplex at a -1 only or just lose it altogether.
And i would like to note that Pounce was never "nerfed". It is exactly as powerful as it was when it came out, it just deals unavoidable damage. It's still a full-move w/ melee attack +1attack +1damage and was only changed so that Indomitable characters wouldn't get a free ride.

To Sate. The nerfing of pounce occurred when they made objects modify your damage value making it impossible to pounce while carrying an object.

This is perhaps the pinnacle of efficiency right here. 6 damage (splittable), 10 attack, 17 defense with Super Senses for 50 points? Lunge makes him even better, scarily enough. Put 3 of these guys, Mr. Fantastic with Brilliant tactician, and Stingray for a 300 point Scientist theme with devastating results.

The sculpt is ugly, but that's pretty much the only bad thing to say about this piece.
50 POINTS?! What's going on?! It's completely broken : 4 attractive keywords, excellent stats all dial long, 2 clix at 3 DV meaning a pretty pushable guy (in fact his whole first and second clix happen to be just exactly the same). Oh, and by the way, Spider-Man TA.

I say it again : this piece is TOO cheap.

This 50 point monster has become one of my signature figs. I've given this fig to so many new players, and obviously kept one for myself. The thing that made me fall for this fig was in a 1000 point three way game. I had a scientist team with him on it. One guy was playing KC figures with Superman Prime, and the other guy had a misc team with Anti Monitor (600 points). Anti Monitor and Prime slugged it out for awhile, then I TK'd spidey up to a building, perplexed his damage with Mr Fantastic (double perplex), lunged, hit prime, killed him. targeted Anti Monitor with the second attack and killed him. They were both injured before I stepped that in, but that's 918 points, in one action, with a 55 point figure. Beat that with another fig around that cost

Cheap enough to add two to your army and still have a heavy hitter. This piece kills when ignored.

This is one of my go to clixs for the points.

Just not a fan of the sculpt. It's too tall to fit in my case so it has to go in my giants case. In scale it with other figs, he is HUGE. I need to pop it of and glue an old one on. The sculpt from IC is so much better, I may put that one on.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a figure that can output this much damage at 50 points... those Flurries sure add up, and it's not like you can't push him to lay waste to the opposition. The fact that he has his wildcard TA and decent range on that 3 damage is incredible. I would have point-costed him at 70 but clearly the designers wanted a Spidey in every basket.

One of my favorite tactics is to play him on a 500 point "Fantastic Five" team. Him, the Fantastic Four from the starter set, Brilliant Tactician on MR. Fantastic, Trick Shot on Invisible Woman, Lunge on Spidey, and Unstoppable on Thing. Have Reed double perplex spidey's damage, and wham! 10 clicks from his dual flurries.

This spider-man looks like it came out of a happy meal.

he critical hit extent off elevated dealing 6, then lunged 1 and hit him a 2nd time dealing another 3, k.o.ing extent in one move!! one of spidermans finnest moments...

Excelent dial for a rookie Spidy, although I think Super Strengh would have been in that dial for a better comic accuracy. For 50 points, Spidey has brutal stats, and he's wildcard. His special power's awesome for the points. A perfect dial, but a horrible sculpt present in my nightmares!!

Sculpt is clearly based on the simplistic artwork of Ditko in the 1960s. Thus it has the Fantastic Four keyword because during that time period Spider-man attempted to join the Fantastic Four.

He was my favorite 50point figure after Warlord.

Ok, picture this...This spiderman holding the crimson gem of cytorrak from GSX!
Charge! Super Strength, flurry, four damage plus to top it all off toughness to ward off poison and other such one damage whittling.
A possible 10 damage with a heavy in one round!
I'd be happy with that for 50pts wouldn't you?:devious:
