Gotta do a lot of catch up!
Turn 2:
After seeing Guy angle into an attack vector Kyle Flew in behind him. G'Nort decided that since his best pal Guy was headed in there was no better place to be in the whole Multiverse. Unfortunately both He and Kyle were so intent on the monsterous behemoth that they failed to notice each other. Kyle ringed up a massive green ball with a dimple. A pyramid of light focused on the dimple and got ready to leap towards Krona. G'Nort in his enthusiasim wandered right into the path. Kyle aborted his massive strike. Krona noticed the construct and with a dismissive gesture smashed it with a giant yellow club. The feedback shocked Kyle through his ring and left him gasping.
Tomar Tu was having no better luck. His constructs didn't even seem to be noticed by the giant blue figure. Nothing he created seemed to penetrate the armored hide. He hadn't felt so fustrated since primary school.
Sentinel also was having no luck. His powers were still recovering from the beating he had taken at the hands of Arkillo. The Green flame just did not seem to be reaching the blue energy form in front of him.
Hal noticed Sinestro giving aid to Krona and attempted to interfere. His constructs were easily avoided by the yellow lantern and Krona's attacks forced Hal to continue to duck for cover preventing him from creating a decisive strike.
Turn 3:
Katma Tui was staggered by the size of the creature in front of her, and what he had done to the young earthman. The fact that a seasoned corpsman like Tomar Tu was also injured made her put more care in her defences. She decided that whatever her feelings about Sinestro were she had better keep her head in the game. Unfortunately her blasts went unoticed by the large being who seemed to be concentrating on other Lanterns.
Guy Gardner was moving in. He was going to personally pull this blue bum down.
Turn 4:
Sentinel yelled out, "FALL BACK! We can't take this kind of firepower! Get back here!" Tomar Tu heard his call and overcame his pain to rally to the earthman's side. Allan moved closer to Tomar "Help me! I need more focus to penetrate his shields, you need more power to damage him. Hit on the count of 3." Tomar nodded assent. "One .. Two .. THREE!" With that both let loose with blasts of energy. Finally the combined might pierced the shields and started to weaken Krona.
G'Nort squirmed out of the binders thrown at him by Krona. He slipped and dodged until nothing more attacked him. He then looked around, whining. Unfortunately Krona had done his job well. Fear had entered into the Lantern's heart and now he doubted himself. He saw his friends fighting with everything they had and they were doing so little. How could he help?
Hal realized that Sinestro would just have to wait his turn. He turned his attention back to Krona. He leaped into the air and formed a giant battleship around himself. He pointed to Krona and 12 massive barrels pointed with him and opened fire. He pored every last bit of his considerable will into pulling power from his ring. The blasts rocked the blue figure and Hal knew he had it's full attention now.
Wow I did get behind. I will write more later when I get a chance.

Turn 5
Hal steadied his mind and focused his will. He had seen the new kid go down fast. But For Guy to be taken out in such a … casual way was worrisome. Whatever his faults he was one tough dude. Hal focused and lined up a shot at Krona’s knee. G’Nort came on the line, “Hal. What are we going to do?” “Huh?” Hal’s shot drifted up higher than he intended because of the interruption. Krona let out a bellow as Hal’s shot hit him below the belt. Hal shook his head. “We fight on G’Nort, we fight on.”
Jade attempted to push back against Krona. When she did she felt a coldness in her feet. He turned and laughed at her. "I still have a toe hold in you! I will smash your friends and then reclaim you for my prize!" She spent precious energy and time fighting his grasping tendrils that reached at her though the ether.
Katma decided a more direct action was needed. She willed up a massive bell and dropped it over his head. She than malletted the bell with all the force she could muster. Krona started laughing he seemed to swell and become more solid. “You are all so PUNY!” Muahahahahahah!
Jade had to move fast. Krona’s blasts were coming way to close for comfort. And she didn’t know if she could fight off that cold weary feeling in her feet if it got any stronger. Already she was a bit sluggish and only just dodged the blasts.
Hal was locked in a struggle with Sinestro. Every chance he got he blasted Krona, but his red nemesis was right on his tail sending deadly alien dragons that spit sickly yellow flames ripping and burning his battleship to shreds, or twisted armored men armed with the same sickly yellow lightsabers. Sinestro changed tactics abruptly and lashed out at Hal with a blast of pure energy. Hal’s shield snapped up but due to the yellow a portion still leaked through and hit his left arm. Hal spun in the shield with the blow but his arm was numb below the elbow.
Turn 6
Sentinel worked with Tomar Tu. Tomar had created a huge hose and Sentinel was pouring raw green fire into it. Tomar was focusing the flames on the lower half of Krona, and he seemed to be dissipating a bit down there. But way to little to do much good.
Sentinel looked at Tomar. “Patch me through to everyone on our side.” Tomar, “Done.” “Unless someone has some great idea I don’t think we can take Krona down ourselves.”
Hal “We can’t just give up here! If he gains full control of the power he has assimilated then no one will be able to stop him.”
“Hal we have Jade. She can learn to harness the Starheart, we can rally other heroes like the JLA …”
(Lightshear’s post 28)
Turn 7
Ganthet calmly stood on a green platform and was brought to the field of battle. Yellow bolts just stopped when they got within 10 meters of the small blue man. He sized up his opponent with an inscrutable look. He the moved one hand lower and to his right. Blue power started to leach out of Krona and into the ground. Sudden understanding came over Alan, while the rest of the team were puzzled. “He is pulling the energy out! We have been trying to blast it out. Siphon the energy out! He is an energy being, if we drain him there will be nothing left.”
Hal turned on Sinestro. “I think that Krona will have his hands busy and we can finish this ourselves!” With that he launched a blistering wave of rockets at Sinestro. Sinestro started to dodge and then grabbed G’Nort by the tail. G’Nort was startled and yelped in pain. Sinestro threw the hapless Lantern at Hal, the distraction worked and Hal grabbed G’Nort in a giant baseball mitt instead of pressing his attack.
G’Nort was humiliated. He couldn’t look at Hal. He felt like a dope. He listlessly started flying in a vague direction out of the fight to keep out of trouble. His smarting tail between his legs.
The rest of the Green Lanterns Charged Krona arming themselves with various constructs or joined with Sentinel and the original band under their protective green shell.
Arisa had flown in to help Hal. She would help out the handsome earthman and maybe he would notice her. She gulped as Krona shifted his dead black eyes on her and hesitated a split second, which was all he needed. Like a snake which has hypnotized its prey he lashed out at her and blasted her with a cyan bolt from his left hand. With his right hand strike though he went after the far more dangerous Hal. Hal engaged as he was with such a deadly foe could not afford to split his attention and was blasted in the back by the cyan bolt. That opened him up to a blast from Sinestro that left Hal reeling and struggling to maintain his shields.
Turn 8
Sentinel struggled to change his green flame into something that would pull the energy out of Krona. Something about his energy signature made it very difficult. Every form he tried the energy just didn’t move.
Jade was not having much luck either. She was fighting Krona on two fronts and she was struggling against the darkness. The green light had given her hope and flushed most of the darkness from her feet but she could still feel Krona trying to get a hold of her again. G’Nort passed her field of vision and she tried to get his attention. “G’Nort! What are you doing? Where are you going?”
“I can’t do anything here! Everyone is too big for me. I just keep getting in the way.”
“Nonsense! Get over here and help me.” The dog like lantern came over reluctantly. Jade took some time out to scratch behind his ears. “Now come on and pitch in where you can. You don’t have to take on anyone yourself. We are a team, right?” G’Nort wasn’t too sure about that but found that he could control his fear a bit if he stayed close to Jade.
Ch’p saw Krona’s focus on Hal and Arisa and rushed to their rescue. Krona readied another blast to finish of the beleaguered lanterns. Ch’p flashed over and ringed up a massive powerful shield. The twin blasts rang against the shield and forced Ch’p back into Arisa but the shield held. Hal looked over “Size matters not! Thanks for the save.”
“No problem,” panted Ch’p “but I think our colossal guy over there is too big for even me to handle myself. A little help?” “Lets go!”
Krona realized that Ganthet was draining off his energy and turned on him. Cyan bolts lashed out. The first whistled through the air above Ganthet’s head. The second though contacted his shield and staggered the Oan. Ganthet set his mouth in a grim line and pulled out a small glowing box with his left hand, keeping it out of sight of Krona.
Whew! This is fun but have to take a bit of a break before I finish.
"Nature has placed nothing so high, that valour cannot overcome it."
Alexander of Macedon
[Lightshear if you need me to modify this a bit to fit something you wrote let me know. But I like what I have written so please try to keep as much as you can.]
Turn 9
Kilowog, Jade and G’Nort combined their fire at Krona’s head. “Keep it up Lanterns! Show me what you’ve got!” G’Nort bravely tried his best to keep up but despite his enthusiasm and the power of the other two, Krona put both hands together and blocked the blasts. “See he is too big! What are we going to do Jenny Jen?!?” “Keep going G’Nort! We aren’t alone!”
At that moment when Krona was distracted Sentinel sensed a weakness. He formed a large grounding stake and ringed a wire with a whip end. He snapped the whip out and around Krona’s leg. When it was secure he willed the energy to flow down the wire to the ground. Krona’s leg started to whither and become less substantial. “Do not use force on him! He just absorbs it! Pull the power from him!”
Arisa heard the older Earthman and saw that his constructs were having an effect. She ringed up a giant laser cannon with a power cord. She stabbed the power prongs into Krona and aimed the gun at one of the milling yellow lanterns in the air above. Krona gave a cry as she channeled Krona’s energy out and blasted the yellow slime ball. It didn’t knock out the lantern but gave one of her fellow lanterns a bit of breathing space.
Tomar Tu reinforced Sentinel’s cable with a second one of his own to the other leg. He poured his will into forcing the energy down into ground that Alan had formed. Katma Tui joined the rope a dope bunch and put a giant hand cuff on Krona. She attached it to her own ground in a nearby building.
Ganthet smiled a small tight smile as he regarded his pinned opponent. He gestured again with his free hand and Krona’s head snapped to the side and he vomited energy out in an unfocused blast that did nothing. In his backward turned hand the small cube started to glow with a pearlescent light.
Turn 9
Krona struggled against his bonds. He tired to blast Ganthet and Jade with eye beams but Jade was too fast and Ganthet was too powerful for the rapidly weakening giant. Then with a giant heave he broke free of Katma’s Handcuff and placed his hand on the ground. The hand started to regain some of it’s solidity.
With a flourish Ganthet pulled out the small glowing cube. Krona’s eyes went wide. “No! I won’t be trapped!” He surged and raged but the Lantern’s bonds on his legs held him in place. Ganthet floated forward and held the cube towards Krona. “For attempting to destroy the universe I sentence you to the Energy Storage Cube until the end of time.” With that the ESC sent out four thin beams from the corners nearest Krona. They rapidly outlined his struggling form. He tried to turn and run but the Lanterns struggled mightly and held him in place. Then his form started to stretch out towards the cube. “Noooooooo!” And with a last agonizing wail that left the everyone’s hair on end (those who had hair!) he disappeared. “I trust that you can take care of the rest.” With that Ganthet took the glowing cube and floated towards the light and out of Quard.
Hal turned to his nemesis and let loose with a rocket. But he was so groggy that he couldn’t tell which of the two fuzzy forms in front of him was Sinestro. He tried a witty rejoinder but his teeth moved all funny and all that game out was a groan. Sinestro was distracted by his master’s defeat and merely smacked the rocket out of existence with a casual yellow blast.
Sinestro’s resolve returned and he sent a huge yellow fireball at the lanterns. The explosion when it hit singed several lanterns and knocked Hal to his knees.
Turn 11
The remaining lanterns started forming up to take Sinestro into custody. Kilowog yanked the radio tower that Sinestro had been standing on out from under him and tried to hit him with it. Sinestro just chuckled and dodged the swing easily. A giant flaming hand reached to grasp the Yellow Lantern and Sinestro looked about to slip out of this attack also when a giant dog bone smacked him on top of the head. “I did it! Jen Jen! Did you see it! I managed to hit Sin’nus!” Jennifer laughed, “Yes you did. But I don’t think he goes by that name anymore.”
Arisa jumped in front of Hal and let loose a yell. “Yahhhh!” and blasted Sinestro’s struggling form in the flaming hand. The force of the hit knocked him out of the hand and into a nearby building. Ch’p looked for a good shot but couldn’t find one with all the debris.
Sinestro struggled out of the bricks and broken furniture. “You meddling mutt! I will make you pay for that!” A blast flashed out of the Yellow ring towards G’Nort. G’Nort was in the middle of his victory dance and as he leaped into the air the blast went under him.
Turn 12:
While the battle above raged the team of lanterns below pursued Sinestro. Sinestro sensing defeat started twisting and dodging. Attempting to escape the net closing in on him. Sensing the chase G’Nort’s hound instincts took over and he raced ahead. Hal could barely stand so he ringed up a fighter jet and got in. G’Nort reached Sinestro and grabbed his ankle with a giant poodle. It gripped Sinestro in jaws as strong as iron and took him to the ground. Hal’s jet streaked past the other lanterns in a flash of green. Sinestro blasted the poodle with a flash of sickly yellow that destroyed the construct. G’Nort stood and faced his former teacher with no fear in his heart. He was alone but knew his friends were coming. HE would face down Sinestro and be the hero! A sinister chuckle came from Sinestro’s bloody lips. “Well Lantern,” Lantern was said with scorn dripping from the syllables, “What are you going to do now, drool on me?” As he raised his hand to blast G’Nort…
The ground flashed by as Hal struggled to focus. He used the ring to create a fire control computer and locked onto the strongest Yellow Energy signature. It was streaking away and he pursued it. The optical view enlarged his former teacher. “I have you now!” He let loose with a spread of missiles that streaked in to their target. They impacted with a giant flash of green. When the glare subsided there was no sign of Sinestro, only a pile of rubble.
