Except that Green Rings have a potential weakness to yellow, and run on willpower, whereas yellow rings have no such weakness, and feed of fear.

No, Lanterns can Kill Anyone, the Law was Expanded for sure, I Forget where it happened but it did, Just look at FC #7 they killed Mandrakk.

Blue Rings For example can do just about Anything, as long as somebody hopes for it, which makes them intensely powerful and incredibly limited
Blue Rings Can Charge Other Power rings, and don't seemingly Run out of Energy.

Violet Rings and Seek Out and Teleport its holder to anywhere that two Lovers are about to be broken apart.



I Guess Yellow Rings do seem a Bit more Lethal, Yellow Ring Holders seem to "One Shot Kill" alot more people then Green Lanterns do, but that could be just because of the Ring Holders willingness to do so.

Not quite true. They are also "charged" by hope, IIRC. Hope is their power battery and their power ability simultaneously. Neat idea.

I noticed people saying that Hal may get "all the rings" at some point. I hope that isn't true. I would hate to see such a potentially great story "hacked" up with a "one man to hold them all" (as opposed to one ring?) cheesy plot.

I still dream of lanterns of various colors having fleeting allies and enemies between each other as different situations arise. I've always preferred a "shades of gray" approach to good vs evil rather than distinct lines of stereotypical characters.

Hmmm, I wasn't aware that that law had been expanded, but I could be wrong. I was under the same impression as SentryWill that it still only applied to the Sinestro Corps members officially.

ok, if you are needing to read up on some GL history right away, you can find a lot of it on torrents sites. Look for "Green Lantern Chronology Part XX" (XX is a number and it goes up to 14 so far). Goes up to GLC 14 and GL 17 (Just before the Sinistro war)
