Brotherhood: Turn 10!

1) Alpha looks up at Goliath, seemingly surprised by the big man's attempt to hurt him. Once again, his eyes flare with power. Alpha punches Goliath. 11 atk. vs 16 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (1,4) for a 5 and just barely a hit! Goliath takes 3 after toughness.

Alpha doesn't appear to make a more, but suddenly Goliath finds himself falling to the ground flat on his back with enough force to knock all the air out of his lungs!

Champions 11!

"Ho! Our battle is not yet finished gigantic one!" Hercules yells, as he charges forward, but not before grabbing a huge chunk of the foundation of the building first!

1) Hercules charges to C-11 and attempt to bash the Ultimate Mutant with the HO! Shapechange is...4, attack roll...4! Hercules swings wide and destroyed the ground at the ultimate Mutant's feet!

2) Goliath attempts to get out of there. Breakaway: Rolls 3 for nuthin.

3) Ghost Rider will RS to B-16/17 to attack Alpha with Psychic Blast! AV 10 on DV 17, shapechange is...3! Rolls 7. Which apparently misses. Silly hindering terrain.

4) Widow will try and duck out from under Unus' grasp. Rolls 2. She's not going anywhere....

free) Alpha, starting to get mad burns Goliath yet again with his aura but Hercules seems to be made from sterner stuff. Goliath takes 1 from the poison.

1) "Don't run away, we're not done dancing yet!" Unus grins, bouncing Natasha between the wall and his forcefield again. Unus punches Natasha. 10 atk. vs 14 (+2 from combat reflexes) def. Needs a 6. Roll is: (6,1) for a 7 and a hit! Natasha takes 2 and is knocked into the wall by bounce but is yet again saved by her reflexes!

2) "I said ENOUGH of this Unus!" Magneto warns as he reaches out with his powers, bringing an entire section of the ceiling down on Natasha and Unus. Magneto shoots Black Widow. 10 atk. vs 12 (+1 from terrain) def. Needs a 3. Roll is: (1,6) for a 7 and a hit! Natasha takes 4 and is KO'ed!

With a resounding crash, Natasha and Unus are both burried under the rubble. It takes a few seconds for the dust to clear enough to show Unus standing in the middle of the devastation, completely untouched. Natasha, on the other hand, is completely burried!

Champions 12!

"Man, these guys are boring." Ice Man laments, as no one will banter with him.

1) Ice Man on Alpha and Unus. Alpha's shape change is..5! He's not even there! Ice Man turns the force of his attack on the Untouchable Unus. Iceman incaps Unus, and hits with an 8! Super Senses, 4! That's enough for a token and a push click to Unus, as Ice Man covers Unus with multiple sheets of rock hard ice!

2) Following up his allies' noble battle, Hercule pounds away on Mr. Alpha. AV 11 on DV 17, needs 6. First, shapechange is 4, attack is 5! Man, Herc cannot catch a break with this guy...

The rest clear up, and we all bid adieu to Goliath.

The Lion of Olympus summons up all of his awesome strength of will and body and throws off Alpha's influence to the absolute shock of everyone there!

Magneto stands there stunned and Unus bashes his way out of his icy prison. Both clear and Alpha will PC any successful attack against himself

Alpha gestures and Herc suddenly finds himself levitated into the air where he starts spinning faster and faster until he becomes nothing more than a blur. Surely even his legendary Olympian stamina and endurance cannot stand up to such a treatment for long?

And once again, unnoticed by all, Alpha's cranium enlarges!

Bobby gasps in pain as gravitational forces threaten to tear his ice-form apart under Magneto's tender guidance!

2) "You hold, I punch!" Unus smiles, taking a swing at the distracted Iceman. 10 atk. vs 17 def. Needs a 7. Roll is: (3,1) for a 4 and a miss. A word from Magneto alerts Alpha of the situation and he quickly intervenes. Alpha PCs Unus' attack. Second roll is: (6,5) for an 11 and a hit! Iceman takes 1 after toughness and is bounced into the wall but avoids knockback damage thanks to slippery.

Unus takes full advantage of the distraction, and with a little assistance from the, seemingly, omnipotent Ultimate Mutant Unus bounces Iceman back and forth between his forcefield and the wall repeatedly like a ball!

Alpha clears and will PC anything Ghost Rider decides to do (he doesn't care about Bobby at this point)

There's a flash of power and where the Prince of Power used to stand is now a granite statue instead!

2) "And now Drake, it ends!" Magneto pushes himself to his limits to bury Iceman the same way he did the Widow. 10 atk. vs 16 def. Needs a 6. Roll is: (1,2) for a 3 and a miss. Alpha steps in yet again. Second roll is: (6,5) for an 11 and a hit! Iceman takes 3 after toughness and is KO'ed! Magneto takes 1 from the push.

With the assistance of Alpha, Iceman is helpless to resist Magneto's power and with a sickening crunch he too is buried under an avalanche of debris! As this happens, Alpha's cranium enlarges even further...


Suddenly, the Ultimate Mutant turns away from his defeated foe and looks directly at Magneto "I have been deceived!" His unearthly voice echoes in the minds of everyone there. "You will all be judged!" And then, in a blinding flash of light, everyone vanishes leaving nothing but rubble behind...
