I am not removing this until we get the rest of the Marauders, Cameron Hodge and Genoshan Magistrates. Thank you Wizkids. Uncanny X-Men was perfect.
I begin to notice that I don't like anything from Marvel
I did loved Avengers #150 and up
Secret Wars I like it but is too "simple" and without a good resolution.
Infinite Gauntled is kinda nice but Perez don't ended it
I can't really list them in numerical order, but these are my top six. If I had to drop one, it would be Alias, sadly.
Thunderbolts issues 1-75
Captain Marvel v3 & 4 by Peter David
Daredevil by Bendis
Marvel Knights Spider-Man #1-12 by Millar
Captain America: Winter Soldier, and pretty much all of Brubaker's run
Alias
These are my all time favourites that I always read again and again. "Down Among the Dead Men" is one of the greatest Spider-Man stories I've ever read, and I've read almost all of them. Bucky as Cap has been touch or go, but when Brubaker was handling Steve it was amazing.
Warren Ellis's Thunderbolts and everything since isn't really Thunderbolts. It's definitely revitalized the series, but it's not right. I enjoy it still, but it'll never be Thunderbolts to me. Marvel Boy is indeed a great book, but it didn't get on its feet fast enough, and six issues just isn't enough for me to really fall in love with it. I love a good solid series or long run. I love a story that has time to play out.
HeroClix needs more Goblin.
Acceptable in such forms as Green, Grey, Demo, Hob, Ultimate, and "Menace."
1. Infinity Gauntlet
2. Marvels
3. Age of Apocolypse
4. God Loves, Man Kills
5. Daredevil (Frank Miller run)
Honorable mention to Squadron Supreme and Days of Future Past and Inhumans.
Most of the new stuff, in the last 2-3 years, has been AB-SO-LUTE RUBBISH! Annhilation is the only thing that came close to a good story in that time frame.
Just my 2 cents.
It is better to keep quiet and be thought of as a fool than to say something and remove all doubt.

X-Men: Fatal Attractions(Exodus's debut! Magneto's return! Colossus's fall from grace! Wolverine's worst injury EVER! And all done in a simple manner that didn't require us fans to buy 20 extra books!)
Punisher: Welcome Back, Frank(Ennis, Dillon, Frank. Perfection achieved.)
Annihilation(Awesome story that I initially only read for Nova, only to discover so many other extremely interesting characters as well)
Civil War(I actually found the division of the hero community to be an interesting concept, especially now that I look at it with the knowledge of Secret Invasion. However, I miss Steve)
Planet Hulk(Best. Hulk story. Ever. And I''m not really much of a Hulk fan, truth be told)
Honorable Mention:
Ultimate X-Men until Kirkman showed up and treated the book like it was his prison girlfriend
Ultimates 1
Ultimates 2
X-Men: X-Cutioner's Song(First crossover I ever read. I still have fond memories of it to this day)
Punisher: Suicide Run(Another of my favorite Frank stories, as well as the best rip-off of Death and Return of Superman I've ever read)
Death of Captain America: Fallen Son(The last non-hack work Loeb did. I really loved seeing everyone's various reactions to Steve's death. Very moving stuff)
Secret Invasion(I dug it. Loved how everyone was finally united, only to have the villains come out on top after the Skrull invasion)
Wolverine: Enemy of the State
Age of Apocalypse(One of the best examples of how to do a crossover)
Daredevil: Guardian Devil
Marvels
New Avengers: The Illuminati(An excellent way of retconning the group into the aftermath of various major events)
Thor: Ragnarok
Captain America: Current Series, entire run
Deadpool: Current Series, issues 1-3
Daredevil: Devil in Cell Block D(An excellent conversion from Bendis to Brubaker)
I can actually go on fro quite awhile with Marvel stories, but I figure I'll stop here.
I'm very pleased to see so much Daredevil on people's lists. A lot of great talent has gone into the DD books for a long time now, Bendis/Brubaker/Kevin Smith/Mack/Frank Miller, etc. He has lots of good side stories and miniseries too, so just to be fair, I'll put Daredevil at number 1 on my list and consider it all inclusive.
#1 Daredevil
#2 Age of Apocalypse
#3 Squadron Supreme (original)
#4 Welcome Back Frank (Punisher)
#5 X-Cutioner's Song ( I Know, kinda cheesy, but Cable was always a favorite of mine and seeing him be the center and hero of thy whole story was pretty cool.)
Honorable mention:
Origin
Bullseye Greatest Hits, and Bullseye vs. Punisher.
Five is really constricting. So many stories that I just love. I'll give it a shot so my 5 in no particular order:
1. Secret Wars (original)
2. World War Hulk
3. Annihilation
4. Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity War (they go together for me)
5. Thunderbolts (issues 1-75)
There are many more of course but these in particular are great reads for my tastes
