I don't think Blink can make a ranged combat action while based with an opponent.

I had this come up at a tourney at Gencon awhile back. The TK attack can be made as long as she has LOF to both the target and the object; the attack is considered to be coming from the square formerly occupied by the object. The TK object toss is always considered a ranged attack.

The F4 rules book states:

Also, in this case, the object you were TKing was also adjacent to a character so it couldn't be considered a ranged combat attack.

If whoever the official rules arbiter of this league decides that you can make the attack then I am fine with it, but I'd like an official ruling here.

No, blink can't make a ranged attack using an object against an adjacent opposing figure.

The key here, is in the TK description it uses the term 'ranged attack'. You can't make ranged attacks when based by an opponent. You can TK friendlies, and you can TK objects, but you can't TK objects into people, nor can you TK another non adjacent opposing figure.

...and once again I find myself in the same situation on the opposite side of the fence, and once again, even thought the situation is the same, it is ruled against me. ;-P
