(Note that due to elevation I don't believe either of them count as "adjacent" for purposes of Old Lace's special power but even if they do it's countered by their Damage Reducers.)
4) M-11 and Jimmy clear.

1) (free) Jimmy rolls for Leadership and gets a 1. No one's paying any attention to him.
2) Frustrated, Jimmy moves over to J-16.
2) Namora pushes to fly over to E-12.
3) (free) Jimmy Perplexes Ken's damage +1
4) Ken/Gorilla Man pushes to make a ranged combat attack on Nico (near as I can see he has a clear LoF to her even if it hooks slightly - at least I've been having everyone and their brother "curve" LoF's at me). Attack 10 versus Defense 14. Nico's Shape Change fails so Ken sees her for who she is and takes a shot with stun rounds. Roll is 5 + 2 = 7 for 4 clicks and a push to Ken.

We are lucky to have Peers' tool though, because from now on, you dont ever have to get blind-sided by a wonky LOF.
On the map screen, in the upper-right corner, click where it says "show tools". If you click the little sunglasses icon, a blue LOF marker appears on the map (you can move this marker wherever you need to move it). You can change the horizontal # of columns as well as the vertical # of rows to check any LOF. The two arrow buttons let you switch the orientation of the tool. When you are done checking LOF, you can click the "map link" button to get rid of the tool so you can see the full map again.
so checking the tool, the LOF from Nico (blue #1) to GM (red #3) would be horizontal 3 and vertical 6. This LOF goes thru chases square. Likewise the LOF from Chase to GM goes thru Molly's square, and is also blocked.
basically, i only left you a shot on Molly. since molly has 19 def, you may have wanted to plex attack instead of dmg. or, you may not have wanted to push namora out of the way at all for a lower % shot.
at any rate, i think this would be a good example of needing an entire turn redo. my bad too. i shoulda told you about the LOF tool earlier.
oh, and when you are in a league match, if a LOF looks weird to you when an opponent takes a shot, there is nothing wrong with checking the LOF.
there is also nothing wrong with calling the person out on it and asking them to redo. for the most part, there are pretty honest dudes in the league, and i'm not even talking about intentional LOF cheating. sometimes a guy will just eyeball a LOF and accidentally think he has it when he really doesn't.
So LoF has to actually be a direct line...not just "there's nothing blocking" (as all three have their "flank exposed") and within range? i.e. - you can only fire on a straight line?
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

no, it doesn't have to be a "straight" line, it's just that characters and blocking terrain block LOF. so when you look at the LOF tool, all of the highlighted squares are the squares that the shot "goes thru".
if any of those highlighted squares has a figure or a square of blocking terrain, or if to "go down the shot tiles" from one square to another would make you go thru a wall or make you go on a diagonal between characters/blocking terrain, the LOF is blocked. This is why trickshot is so nasty. trickshot lets you ignore figures and hindering terrain when drawing LOF. this lets you shoot a stealthy guy, and also lets you shoot "thru" one guy to get to another.
I guess the best way that I can put it is like this:
In Warhammer 40k, (and I believe D and D also), you just have to have a piece of your base be able to "see" a piece of your target's base (i.e. if i take a string from here to here, can i reach without hitting anything?)
In clix, my entire square has to be able to see my opponents entire square.
Not exactly terribly realistic, but neither is Wasp being able to carry Hulk.
I'll put together a map screen with some different LOF scenarios to show you.
#1 red has LOF to #1 blue, #2 blue, #4 blue, #5 blue, and #2 red
for LOF for elevated to grounded, the elevated fig has to be on the rim of the elevated, and the LOF can't go thru any other elevated squares besides the square that fig is in. also, (and this is a big one) LOF from elevated to grounded is ONLY blocked by blocking terrain, not figures.
so, 1 and 2 blue are on a straight diagonal from him, so it is no problem. if you check the tool though, the LOF from #1 red to #3 blue doesn't work, because it goes thru H-18. even if #5 blue WASN'T in H-18, the LOF would still be blocked because it can't go thru other squares of elevated besides I-18.
1 red to 4 and 5 blue are both straight shots, so no problem. #1 red to 6 is a no-no, because LOF thru two dudes diagonally is the same as thru two blocking terrain diagonally.
#1 red to #2 red is fine, because it doesn't go thru any other elevated other than I-18.
#2 red has LOF to #1 red, #4 blue, and #1 blue.
#2 red does NOT have LOF to #2 blue (it goes thru #1 blue), and #2 red does NOT have LOF to #3 blue because that goes thru I-18, and LOF from grounded to grounded can't pass thru elevated at all.
