I'm not trying to argue, But if we hand out an AST for TK someone who Charges and hits generating a SA, why not the same thing generating a DFD? Its the same idea, just a different stat?

ASTs are explicited linked to SAs in the rules. There's nothing in the rules that says an AST can be awarded for helping someone earn a DFD.

But there's nothing thats says you can't either. Anyway you 2 commishs can insert a rules change so that we don't to wait a full to bring it up in the general thread?

TVK is working on a FAQ for some other issues, but I wouldn't see that one needing addressed.

wait I just realized. Monocle could not attack Blackfire. He was based by Scandal and can't make ranged attacks.

Signalman rolled 3,3. I chose to knock Blackfire next to Monocle. He didn't make a ranged attack. The text is just flavor.

You dancing around the issue and haven't answered my question beyond "I don't want to." I betting if I present it to the general thread, I might be able to drum up support. Why the restistance? Was is abused in the past before I started playing? Again, I need to understand why before I can drop something.

Why is an AST given for a SA but not for a DFD? if both in theory help your team?

The best comparison we have for our stats is sports. That's essentially what our rules system is based on, Basketball/Football. The correlation with Basketball is clear. You get an AST for passing the ball to an teammate, and allowing them to better score an goal (SA). You don't, however, get an Assist for helping someone block a shot. I don't know of anyway one could feasibly assist in that situation anyway.

Furthermore, ASTs and DFDs are linked. They're both generally support. We have a separation between these and our offensive stat categories. It'd fall under the same ruling as 'No ASTs for ASTs'.
