It is illegal to cp/perplex up someone's speed by 5 if they are a flier and would lose 2 speed for carrying, right? Because the -2 speed doesn't occur until you make a move action, at which point you can't perplex or use cp, right?

CP happens during the action, but even if it didn't you can plex/CP up someone as much as you want.
during the action the final result can't be more than +/- 3. So you can plex/CP someone's AV +5 and when they attack they get a total of +3. If +5 to someones AV and they transporter, they get +5 plex, -2 trans for a total of +3.
if you +5 someones speed and then they carry, they indeed can have a total of a +3 to their final speed for the action.
That's gonna cause me to rethink my move. Where you can dump two figures makes a big difference. Oh how I hate CP...especially because I have to throw down 120something points to use it myself.
Yeah, the trap I set 2-3 turns ago is contingent upon me making at least 1 of 6 leadership rolls, so I'm going to have to press my luck sooner than I wanted to.

I forgot what the ruling was for invigorate. It says that a figure that loses a token because of it can't be given a non free action. Should that say non free action before or after or what?
Because if you don't give them a non free action all turn, you just take the tokens off anyways.
the original wording made it only useful if you get a token with a free action (like warbound, CSA TA, etc). In other words, 99% worthless. The new wording (errata) is you clear a token as long as you havent been given (or won't be given) a POWER action that turn. MUCH better now.
I have decided my next turn will include a story post, cause i gotta shake up the dice luck a bit.
But since you can't invigorate yourself (because you must use a power action to use support to activate invigorate), really the only thing is that Jinx can't phase before or after being invigorated in a given turn.
Other power actions would be RS and Charge (off the top of my head), which none of my guys have.
