Week 5 - F: Create-a-scenario; P: Special 3D Object #S101. Also, Heavy 3D object as participation
so the Gold anvil is the Special Object and the silver ones are just Heavy Objects? ie. need no card? yes?

Well, a part of a prize kit (one of each figure, cards, and map) just sold for $100 on eBay. Since there are multiple sets of figures in addition to extra maps ect, a prize kit can bring in over $300 on the secondary market.
I reviewed the Tournament structure last night and like it for the most part. I am going to move things around a little, but for the most part we'll stick to the book. I am of course going to raise the point value on many of the games, and move the Mjolnir special object to the front to go along with "Legendary Day." It just seems fitting to play for the Hammer of Thor during the first week of Hammer of Thor OP.
The only oddity that I noticed was that I only received 3 Runaways cards, as opposed to the 6 that I believe I was supposed to receive. Anybody else notice missing items from your pack?
the venues in my area threw out the suggested format all together. We're all using the same prizes for the same weeks, but that's about it. Well, that and the fact that we spread out sealed events away from initial release.
The part I like the best is that this is the "suggested usage." Do whatever your players like with no fear of recrimination.
Makes my job easier as I don't have to hunt down people trying to trade unreleased LEs ahead of time.
And we've never exactly been pedantic about the WK formats at my venue. We usually saw them as guidelines...
Looks like a decent suggested format. What's even better is that it is suggested, and not mandatory.
Amen! Looks like the model for now is "here's what we recommend you do, but in the end it's your call". I like that: yeah, it opens the door wider for things like the E-Bay'd partial kit mentioned here, but the freedom to tailor the events more to the local players is a definite benefit.

Right, they recommend you reward the envoy or whoever runs the events with a prize, and they recommend you seek out an envoy to help run your events, but again it's up to the individual venue to decide how to handle that.
I was really worried until I read this.
I hope this is the schedule.
Because I didn't want to (after getting a brick already) have to play 3 sealeds...but it is my favourite format...just...in moderation...
After reading this...I'm playing today for the Event Dial and the BFC with the free sweet map that I wanted and then I'm going to skip the other 2...because they do nothing for me...maybe trade value but I am betting they'll both be worth less than 24 dollars anyways....
I am going to talk to my venue owner today about maybe not making them sealed or something...because I like playing every week but not paying every week. (witty word play?)
I am very pleased with the point totals...when it starts getting too high even in this set I don't like it...it's just too much of a difference in fun teams vs competitive ones...

ok i wanted to bring this to people's attention if they are following the schedule. week 12 and week 14 both say they are for Feat 104. oops. Also, Feat 103 is listed as the prize for Week 7 and week 11. so there is only 13 not 15 weeks of prizes. I was wondering do we know an estimated B&B date? we want to make sure we aren't overlapping prizes you know.

Go back and re-read Tyroman, you missed a comment I made.
You are right about Feat #103 being on there twice though, I missed that one. I guess only 14 weeks of prizes.
