In and a favorite holiday story that wasn't already mentioned would probably be Die Hard 2. I know its not as good as the original but I always really enjoyed it.
You are confused... the sequel to Die Hard (Die Hard with a Vengence) takes place in a heat wave in summer.
In and I cannot beleve you would leave out Festivus....
Well, I was going to put the Seinfeld episode with Festivus, but it looks like Charlie already snagged it.
I'm afraid it's going to have to be one of the classics, which is actually a reeally close toss up among them all, but I'll go with The Year Without a Santa Claus. Though on I haven't seen in years that I would love to catch is Little Drummer Boy.
Lot's of good X-Mas stuff out there. Right now, the Futurama Robot Santa is coming to my mind as a standout (along with others that have already been stated like Christmas story and Nightmare)
I'm in. I don't think any of my games are slated to run past X-Mas. As for my favorite, I know it's sad, but my kids have some effect on it. The Santa Clause 1 & 2 My kids love them, and there's enough adult humor to keep me watching them over and over again. Shrek the Halls is awesome, too.
Cool. I am planning on kosher roles for this game.

I was going to say Santa Clause until I remembered A Muppet Christmas Carol. But I thought SC 2 was horrible the one time I watched it.
Thanks to everyone who has signed up so far. I will keep this thread open at least until next week.
My original thought was to run a "Nightmare Before Christmas" mafia, but then decided to expand it in order to fit in all of the other holidays (real and fictional) that pop up around this time of the year. I found that this made it more fun to pick characters for the different roles, so by all means expect some excellent turns and twists ahead.
(And just last night I was flipping channels and saw that Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer was playing. Gotta have to keep all of those old school specials in mind )

SC 2 had some really funny stuff in it. The basic concept of the toy Santa was dumb, though. I have a little thing for the actress playign Mrs. Claus though.
I love a Muppet Christmas Carol. I was debating between that, Christmas Story and of course, my current choice. But I decided to go with something unique.
Again, whoever hasn't seen it, go watch it or download it off a torrent! Its definitely worth it.

The only A Christmas Carol that I like better than the Muppet one is the one that stars Patrick Stewart as Ebenezer. Michael Caine and Patrick Stewart should have a Scrooge-off. Though of course the real winners would be Charles Dickens (Gonzo) and Rizzo the Rat.
