I get the comedy, and can appreciate it. I understand that it is totally appropriate for the character to be munching down on some Oreos. But I'm not sure I love it as far as game play goes. It seems a bit silly for him to be casually eating Oreos during a battle. Although I guess it is no more ridiculous than Batman ands Catwoman lugging the Bat-Signal into battle with them. This set is definitely going to have some fun sculpts. Silly, but fun.
IT IS SILLY! but like I said in other thread. The 90's antihero dark heroes are finally dissapearing and People are beginning to ENJOY Sillyness without guilty and that is awesome!
SIlly and Heoric are beginning to be Cool again!

Those characters aren't disappearing. It's merely that people are starting to recognize that both are good and acceptable. Sometimes I want the Superbuddies. Other times I want Manhunter or Wolverine.

I hope the Choco Martian Manhunter isn't a chase. I will flip out like J'onn on Choco withdrawal if it is. http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Chocos
thank you, i9 was about to yell "CHOCOS!" (oops too late) the very "oreo-ish" cookies from the awesome JLI days...this only makes me more and more hopeful for a blue and gold duo
and fire and ice, and guy gardner and batman (lol) :D
I believe the Martian Manhunter is also a Duo figure. I have been felled by too many Oreos at one time or another. Do not underestimate the power of the cookies.
Ooh, after that comic cover, I think you may be right, it probably is a chair made of piles and piles of Chocos! If that's the case, eh, it just looks like they couldn't get the paint small enough that they had to go huge on the Chocos. Not liking that as much but I understand the limitations there. Hehe, after painting a few pieces the last week, boy do I understand the limitations...

If you want the 90's Heroes and "dark" Heroes and "antiheroes" (Punisher, Ghost Rider Danny, Kyle Rayner, Wally West, etc etc) in the Spotlight and in the top of the head of everything you will have to WAIT YOUR Turn!
NOW the 70's 80's Fans are DOMINATING the industry! OUR Time! NOT YOURS!
Hmmm, didn't see the cookie pose coming. Heck, I didn't even see another MM coming! I think they should have made one with his newer costume though, maybe that will be one of the LE repaints.
I like the Hawkman/Atom duo, I just wish that one was more action with Hawkman flying with Atom on his shoulder.
I love the JLA, so these are great for me, and as everybody might know, I was one of the early proponents of duo figures, even having a legendary battle with Ohoni over a Batman/Robin duo. EDIT: I won that bet!!!
Needless to say, I love the Brave & the Bold characters thus far!

If that Martian is an SR, and if someone doesn't want a copy, let me know! I love it!
coming soon : nu52 Hercules

Last I checked, there's murder galore in Blackest Night. Then Mutations and Monsters was pretty heavily skewed toward zombies. Punisher popped up in Secret Invasion and we have Penance, Venom, and a few other Thunderbolts in Hammer of Thor. Anyone who thinks that Kyle Rayner and Wally West are antiheroes doesn't know what the heck he's talking about. Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Barry Allen are all way "grittier" than Kyle or Wally.
So, uh, you were saying again?
