Better Thunderbolt him to Batman Ally as well then. If anyone can draw line of fire to him he's an easy kill with 13 Defense and only a single click of life. With Stealth he at least gets some sort of protection.

It's not very abusive IMO, especially considering that both Jarvis and Thunderbolts are only availible in Unrestricted.

If you want an abusive taxi, slap the combo on E IC Quicksilver instead.

Jarvis isn't what bothers me.

I'm more worried about something like:
HA Captain America + Thunderbolts (Green Lantern) + Pym Particles
(2x) XP Rookie Hand Ninja
XP Limited Edition Elektra + Inside Information
(3x) XP Experienced Psylocke
CT Felicia Hardy
CM Veteran Elektra

=300 points

One idea to make it even worse is to give Captain America Contingency Plan as well by the way. You'd need to drop a figure to make it work though...

You mean like swapping XP LE Elektra + Inside Information to another XP R Hand Ninja which leaves the 12 points for contingency Plan?

I'm thinking more along the lines of dumping CM Elektra (who I don't think is essential to this team) and use the points to upgrade the Hand Ninjas to Veteran status. That's 271 point, leaving room for Pym Particles, Thunderbolts, Contingency Plan and Protected on Cap.

BTW, keep in mind that when Cap is a giant anyone can fire at him even though the ninjas are in the way. It's not easy to hit a 21 Defense, but not impossible either. Just saying.

True, CM Elektra isn't necessary, but completely surrounding Cap with 8 figures keeps out HSS close combat, and she's great for the points if you need a back-up attack piece. Also the 20-21 defense would have 3 theme team rerolls to back it up, and possibly Felicia's depending on the angle. If they tag him after all that then he deserves to get hit.

I dunno, fun ideas, but I'll never use it. I also thought about Moonstone instead of Cap, but her defense falls short in this situation and she's not a Martial Artist. Still, a 6 damage Psychic Blast with a 13 attack and a reroll would definately catch some attention.

Why does everyone think its abusive. Once Pym Particles is in use its pretty easy to target the giant, just focus on him and take him down. IMO Captain America would be better off not being a Giant and hiding and using his shield from places he couldn't be attacked from. Pym Particles places him out in the open and an easier target.

For the formations people are suggesting, I don't think he loses that much for being a giant. As long as map choice is won, the Cap teams will still be selecting those advantageous maps like the tank or the Rainbow bridge one. He'll still be safe behind blocking terrain and standing on the other side of a building.

It was much more abusive when it was an optional feat. (Being able to stop being a giant was huge.)
