I think that (paint job aside) the sculpts should look pretty close to this. I have seen products (albeit from other companies) produced with digital sculpting techniques and they are always incredible.
Very nice. Much better than that horrid Mera sculpt. 2 out of 3 good ones so far!
What?!
lmao that Mera sculpt is bomb! A bit of an unusual idea, I'll admit, but its built well.
Plus c'mon. For a little piece of plastic, she's totally got a swimmers butt.
We get this guy before we get an actual Larfleeze.
I'm not complaining, I'm just remarking on information that makes little sense to me and is disappointing.
Perhpas that comment should be directed at Topps then, as I'm fairly certain were it not for the hiatus we would probably have seen Larfleeze by now...

I know in another thread there is a discussion about digital sculpting and about how the final products may or may not come out as good. The reality of it, is at the end of the day, these things are still mass produced for mass consumption (so to speak). However, if the final over-seas production process makes a product that's still half as good as this I have a feeling we're going to see a quality that shoots above the last few years of the game (excluding of course the year hiatus).
Here's hoping Flash is tomorrow. Can't wait to see him!!
I dont think it makes much sense to put Larfleeze in a starter. Ideally if they make him, he's around 300 points or more; he's supposed to be an entire corps in and of himself.

Agreed.

The character that I was most looking forward to from the set doesn't disappoint me, and with the already solid Green Lantern I am next looking towards the Flash.
But given how these first figures looked, I have no reason to believe that the Flash will be anything on the bad side of average, or even just average.
