Will this be the first year ever with more D.C. than Marvel sets?

In all fairness Marvel would need to actually be 70 years old for this to be a reality IMO.

What the heck does that mean?

As someone who usually can't afford much more than a brick of any new set, I care that Nekron and Black Hand are chase figures. I would really like them, but I doubt I'll be able to afford them. All I know is that if I can't get either of these guys, I won't be interested in getting any other Black Lanterns since I won't have the ringleaders.

Ah, well. If I chase after one of them, it's going to be Black Hand. The sculpt looks awesome, from what I can see.

Overall it looks good from the little info we have.

And like them or hate them, Chase figs sell boosters. I just roll with it, life is too short and sucks too much to get upset over 'Chase' figs.


April '10 - The Brave & The Bold - Yay, but too many Duo figs, but it is still more clix

May '10 - Blackest Night Starter - Yay, would have preferred other Lanterns, but...

July '10 - The Watchmen 25 Figure Collector Set - Will buy, but it is really 18 months too late to ride the wave.


August '10 - Web of the Spiderman - Hurray - Hope it has a Sinister feel to it.

October '10 - Brightest Day (7 Figures - Like starter but no fiddly bits) - Should come out at the pinnacle of the BD comic, good timing, Hopefully good figs.


November '10 - DC 75th Anniversary Set (featu...ring WLC) - Could be an exciting set, Origin feel maybe?

Halo Reach ActionClix (Battle Packs & Mega Battle Pack)- q4 '10 - If it is HeroClix compatible, while still being a seperate game, great. Otherwise, who cares.

It's either the dice-type stuff they include in a starter for newcomers, or else an allusion to some kind of add-on "expansion" for Dr. Manhattan. Emphasis on "expansion".

Yeeeaaahhhh. Very excited about the new sets...very not cool to make Nekron and Black Hand Chase, just sets my mind that I will buy BatB on the secondary market and be done with it.
