DnA have really elevated cosmic marvel to a whole new level. GoG was awesome and this whole story is such a cool idea. I love it.

The only problem is the impending ending. The hiatus, and the hints that Loeb is gonna come on board and ruin everything really cast a dark cloud over this phenomenal series.

Really you could think of the whole series as a metaphor for the fact that soon they're gonna let Loeb into the cosmic universe and he'll hack it to death.

Loeb is the many angled one. The Cancerverse is a Metaphor for his writing.

So they rezzed Tenebrous and Aegis??? Weird or are the Chuttluverse versions??

Why does Marvel let Loeb continue to write bad comics? Why did Marvel take away Spider-Man's Marriage in about the worst way possible? Why does Marvel continue to look past the problems with Greg Land?

now Its possible that they wanted to stay on this project forever, and they were denied that, but its far more likely that they are interested in moving to a different project, writing for different characters, doing different things.

I was shocked when Lord Mar-Vell was revealed. My bet is that he cured his cancer in the alt universe, and in doing so spread "the cure" to the rest of the universe.

Cancer = Life Growing out of control.

Cancer cells have monstrously long telemeres, which makes them virtually immortal. (in effect they age 100s of times slower than regular cells) Once they hijack blood flow, they grow out of control, metastasizing to new areas. Cancer Cells are YOU. they are a living part of you growing out of control.

"Cancerverse" is a metaphor for all that. Its the universe where the "life" has defeated the "death" and has grown out of control until its filled everything up. All "life" is the Cancer in this metaphor.

I doubt there's going to be a reveal where everyone in their universe has Cancer. That would be on par with the silliness of early 90's comics.

Not to turn this into a competition or derail the thread too much, but what kind of cred do you THINK you have that could usurp my position?

As an aside to the above question, I did say ONE of the premiere cosmic marvel fans on this site. There can be more than one. I'm not a highlander.
