Don't get me wrong, thugit: I would love to have lamppost batman too. But the thing is I want the Black Lanterns more. A LOT more.
Eventually I'll try to get Lamppost Batman, but for now, that will have to wait.

Kal-L destroys Lamppost, as much as it pains me to say.. I loves my Lamp Post Bats too.. but Kal-L is just BRUTAL.. he's meant to be played aggressively.. toss him in and just destroy your opponents Support.. his Steal Energy and Healing trait keeps him fighting way longer then Toughness should allow..

Manhunter LOOKS so much cooler.. but game-play wise.. his mid-dial(where he'll spend most of the game) numbers are a little weak.. and you NEED Black Hands Drain the Spectrum Power if you wanna hit..

Given a choice I'd pick up Kal-L over the Manhunter.. unless you're a real Manhunter fan..

I've had great luck with Kal, but he's more a high point game piece. In 300 Black Hand and the Martian are a tough combo

I'd almost agree with your rankings but Black Hand has to be #1. His drain the spectrum power is just THAT GOOD add outwit buttloads of regen and the ability to heal any friendly character on a KO and you have an incredible figure. With the other Black lanterns he makes 10av's look downright scary.

I had Kal-L and MM...both are quite playable, but Kal is a little more consistent.

In summary:

Lamppost Batman > Kal-L > Martian Manhunter > poor people.

Lemme fix that equation -

Superman-2 > Kal-L>Lampbats>Martian Manhunter > all other heroclix. Ergo, I am not poor.

You should go with Kal. I have played against both, and I think MM is easier to ko because the low defense. I have also used both and Kal-L is undefeated, while MM has lost a few.

I like both, and have both. However for me the Martian Manhunter is an amazing sculpt (which probably doesn't matter that much), but he is also less points as stated, and that shape change made the difference for him when I played against a JSA team this week.

As I said.. MM LOOKS better to be sure.. but unless you're playing him with Black Hand, and why wouldn't you, and using the Drain the Spectrum effectively.. he'll have a hard time hitting with that 9 attack..

Kal-L is the more consistant beater...
