I don't know that a lot of people see Willpower as a great part of his dial; I'd expect to hear more say it's his biggest weakness (225 points and no damage reduction?!)

Now, I haven't been on HC Realms too long, nor am I nearly as well traveled in the complexity of competitive play as some. But I do have a favorite power to the game - one which backs up Saturnflight's point about our notorious green sentinel's lack of damage reduction. That power would be Poison, which is indiscriminate about that 20 defense everyone loves to squeal about and can be found on figures one-tenth of KC Green Lantern's point size.
Granted, Poison is effective against just about any figure on this list save for some of the... for lack of a better phrase, more effective, Indomitable characters. I play in a moderately competitive circle, one that's practically forsaken feats in this age of print and play (meaning no Armor Piercing) and I've held my own with it against all but 3 KC figures - Supes, Magog, and Hawkman. Lately, Impossible Man has been a big help.
My long and exaggerated point is, as far as Green Lanterns go, our sector rep from Crisis is really the best for this list, not just because he's immune to my nefarious Impossible tactics, but he's built to handle so many others. Two out of three turns, each of these characters can be counted on in the heat of battle, but I'll take Hal and some support pieces over our armored Alan any game. A piece well chosen, Saturnflight.

I actually really like the Sinister Nighthawk for his Willpower, which takes him from an unremarkable light brick to a pretty useful secondary attacker, and at most he costs you 60 points. I like the LE best:
Poor Sgt. Whitman
He has the EXACT same stats as Adeline Wilson, but costs more and the EXACT same cost as Jimmy Woo, but has lower stats.
The point calculator is clearly not that exact.
It's been said numerous times by numerous WK reps, when it comes to Bystanders, the point calculator goes out the window.

Bronze Tiger is a lot like Hex. Move and attack, followed by a combat expert ability. Sadly, it's not as desirable on a close combat figure. He's great in spite of that, but I couldn't really say it's willpower's credit.
Hmm. I see your point. I agree he is a lot like Jonah Hex in the way he works, and I agree that it's not as effective on a close combat figure. But I think in the way that Jonah Hex protects and readies himself for a followup with the 8 range is about as good as how Bronze Tiger protects and readies himself for a follow up with his 18 defense. I think it's the willpower that puts him over by not allowing the opponent to just rest easy if based by or in charge range of Bronze Tiger, regardless of whether he has one token or zero.
Forum Team Building Contest #2 and #3 Winner, & runner up for #1 and #4.
That's no excuse as to why two bystanders with the EXACT same stats shouldn't cost the same.
didnt say it was an excuse... just letting you know, that whomever did bystander A, thought that bystander B should cost more/less (i forget which came first)
i don't disagree with your statement, i'm just saying that it has nothing to do with the calculator

Another fine list. The candidates for honourable mention that leap into my mind fall into three categories: willpower figures who were good in their day whom the game has passed beyond, willpower figures who bubble just below making the "best of" cut, and a couple I see as legitimate bests.
The has beens - Punisher, CT Doc Ock, Unleashed E Hawkgirl, etc...
The B-listers - Norman Osborn, Blade, Vet Blackhawk, Dark Knight, Icons starter Batman, Legacy Talia, Halle Catwoman,...
The Contenders - Jane Foster! (maybe a Best Of support figure), Vet Hive Trooper, and experienced CM Moon Knight.
V Hawkgirl- This little lass from Unleashed was crazy good for her points. Plus you could run multiples of her for a Thanagarian army. If she gets hit she gets OW, always a plus.
Vampire Bats- A Stealthed flyer was great in the day, add WP to the mix with OW & Incap...why haven't I used this guy in the past seven months again?
Of course any Hal figure from Unleashed & the KCGL get props too.
Mister Miracle- I know it pops up mid-dial, but now he doesn't even push off that 19DV.
Looking for a Brawler with WP, look no further than Bronxe Tiger.
Kinda suprised Winter Soldier didn't make the cut. Hit him off his Stealth and he's now mobile and able to Push freely.
And Punisher, most any version, gets it to start and needs it to leave since his DV won't stand up to anything.

You won't believe how many of those were on the first draft! The list on the cutting room floor gives a lot of credence to your rankings!
(Rookie Moon Knight would have been my MK of choice, but next to CT Elektra he just isn't as impressive...)
At an exceptionally low 17 points, Multiple Man plays flunkie well to just about any X-man. Thanks to Willpower, Multiple Man can trail after even your groundpounding pals and still have an action the next turn to utilize that X-man healing. With a flier, it's a no brainer.
Just to clarify though, he won't be using his WP on that 2nd turn, because he would heal someone, take a click, and THEN push. Meaning his WP wouldn't be showing, and he'd take 2.

Not if he manages to avoid the hurt by rolling well.
