I don't know why, but I kind of hope we get chases in WoS. I don't have a good reason, except maybe because I like surprises and I don't want to know the ENTIRE set before I get it. I'd like to be surprised with a really good figure just before it's released.
Given his guest appearance in Deadpool (with Spidey, no less!) I'll not be surprised to see a Hit-Monkey chase. Many "monkey-team" Heroclix completists will be very sad...
Why? I prefer chases to be something I don't want. That way I am not just throwing money away buying packs that I know won't have one.
that defeats the purpose of chases if no one wanted them, then no one buys extra packs, its why the Black Lantern made perfect chases like the Marvel zombies in Supernova, cuz ppl actually wanted them
also if its Chases that no one wants it isn't worth as much as others that ppl do want, which defeats my purpose of collecting these miniatures
not necessarily, i mean, how many super rares do you normally get in a case 5-6?
with 12 being the total for SR
now if we have 16 SRs
and a SR gets packaged every third pack in a case
x= pack with super rare
brick 1
[x][][][x][]
[][x][][][x]
brick 2A
[x][][][x][]
[][x][][][x]
could be 8 SRs in a case
(brick 2) scenario b
[][][x][][]
[x][][][x][]
could be 7 SRs in a case if scenario b
thats still pretty good, especially if you could end up with half the SRs
but pack coalition would need to be change to make it as such so i hope they did
From what I've read, the collation of SRs in the past has been 1 SR per 3 boosters...so 36 boosters would (theoretically) yield a full set (minus the chases). If the ratio stays the same, then you would need 48 boosters. And to put chases on top of that? I just think that the secondary market for the SRs/Chases will be higher (the C/U/R stuff would go down, which would be a good thing).
