The only thing good coming out of marvel (and has been for a while) is their cosmic universe.

I so badly want to be a marvel fan again, but I just can't. Loeb's last good story arc was HUSH (which I loved), but since then he is garbage just like Bendis and Quesada. When they're gone I think Marvel can be good again.

And freakin $3.99 for most issues, no thanks. DC going strong baby.

I like the idea of a competing Hulk but why would they even try to turn Ross into the Red Hulk? From a science stand point he isn't a good candidate lol. But I guess it does make sense as a Hulk opponent.

Echo the statements that the Secret Avengers is the only Avengers title worth reading (just like Mighty was before). It's the one Bendis has NOTHING to do with!

Isn't Thing a member of Avengers as well? I'm sure they'll get along brilliantly.

Pretty much the only thing I like about Rulk is that it's General Ross.

Intellectually it makes sense though- no one has more experience fighting the Hulk, but he's just never been able to match his power level before.

A) Deadpool isn't appearing in X-Force until it relaunches in October. Red Hulk is making his Avengers debut in November.

B) Loeb is done writing Hulk (the book Red Hulk stars in) with #24. Jeff Parker is taking over with Hulk #25, which is out in September.

C) Bendis writes two Avengers books, Avengers and New Avengers. The Thing is part of the New Avengers while Red Hulk will be on the Avengers.

D) Iron Maiden is like a Z list character. Not sure where anyone heard she was joining the Avengers. She isn't.

As for the keyword, I think it is possible, but highly unlikely. Maybe through the players guide, but I don't really know how often they change/edit keywords through that. I'm a fairly new player.

I'll give it a chance, since I do actually like what other writers have attempted to do with the character, but at least right now I don't like the fact that Rulk is still going to be around. It's like letting Doomsday live after the death of Superman story. Just not a good idea.

I'm actually pretty excited by this.

1. A Hulk will be on the Avengers again.

2. Rulk/Thunderbolt Ross can bring power and military strategy to the team.

3. We can see what the character is capable of outside of Loeb's atrocious storytelling.

I hated Rulk at first, but the past year has REALLY endeared me to the character. Can't wait to see where this goes!

I figured it was probably taken from s comic. I honestly just don't read many comics and spend most of the little free time I have on video games. I read a little Batman from the to time. I used to read Ultimate X-men and Spider-man but those went down the drain pretty fast.

Maybe so, but he was very strongly affiliated with the old Cable run X-force team (didn't he debut in that book?) and he's also teamed up with the current X-force at least once already.

Yeah, I am serious. Iron Maiden is a nobody Iron Man villain that hasn't been seen in like 4 years.

No I mean the Joke he was making was in reference to THE BAND Iron maiden. It was a purposeful misdirection based on the similar names.
