I thought X-tinction Agenda was one the best mutliple X-titles crossovers ever. The ending was a little weak, but up until that last issue of X-Factor it was very good stuff.
RE: the ending

Seriously, Cyke and Havok manage to take out Hodge more or less on their own? We spend the whole crossover watching Hodge single handedly dismantle entire teams of X-Folk without much difficulty and then all the sudden he gets smoked by the Summers Brothers? That really didn't make a whole lot of sense...
Not sure you can spoiler a 20 year old story, but I thought

Spoiler since someone had mentioned they hadn't read it yet. Just being polite

And the closest the came to 'destroying his power source' was that in the build up to the final Summers Brothers battle against Hodge, Archangel managed to destroy Hodge's phasing unit... while Hodge was phasing through a wall. Now, I don't doubt that rematerializing inside a solid wall did some serious damage, but how in the HECK did Archangel even manage to touch/damage him at all when he was still phasing/intangible?!?!
Most of that story was awesome, no doubt, but the ending had so many holes in it, it was almost as if the writers had said "Crap, we just realized we spent the whole story building Hodge up as neigh-unstoppable... and now we just realized that they, uh, have to stop him for the story to end. Quick! To the contrived-plot-device-mobile!
