spider-man doesn't need a move an attack really. yes i do read spider-man. most times he swings in and makes a joke. he then evades punches, bullets, etc, and then lays you out. this is what this spider-man DOES! you have to attack him or he'll make you pay. the crazy thing is, he's good all the way through his dial. even on his last click he can just evade and tie ppl up. i'm starting to believe that we'll never see the be all end all version of any character. every character will still have one or two things that we wished they had. sure spidey could have a move and attack, but i don't look at spidey as a move an attack type of character. even look at the movies. he swings in, maybe kicks you, but most times makes a joke to get you angry and then evades your attack.
@antonio.clark.art is my instagram.take a look and tell me what you think....be blessed!!!
It is hilarious that the sinister syndicate desperately need Spider-man on their team to get a much needed attack value bump. Great piece, very simple to play, make sure you do not push off that first wonder click though!!
I'm sorry larthosgrr8, you lost all credibility when you tried to use the movies as your argument. The movies are hollywood's interpretation to comic books and really don't represent anything in actual comic books. I'm also sorry that you don't view Spiderman as a move and attacker, his writers will disagree with you, as that is what he does most, swings in on a web line and hits you. It is the only way he fights Green Goblin. Outside of Nightcrawler he is probably Marvels most nimble and on the move character. His whole fighting style is pounce and leap away, that is the way he fights, he does not stand there and get beat on. You are right, there will never be a be all end all character to any character, but the only thing they got right on this figure was his super senses and his starting defense. No perplex, or outwit, no move and attack, random clix with super strength, those are the required powers, he could also have toughness, range, flurry. I mean, this figure is usable, but he is not even close to Spiderman.
I HATE THIS SPIDER-MAN!! Why? It's simple. We have hundreds Spider-Mans with Leap/Climb, Super Strengh, and Super Senses. Hundreds. One of them in each expansion of Heroclix. All of them are equals to each others. In a set dedicated to Spider-Man's world I was expecting for a Spidey perfectly comic accurate, with mobility and amazing powers, with a dial like Spider-Girl's dial, but better, just like how Spidey should be in Heroclix. And what have we? Another Spider-Man with the same simple powers, but a better Super Senses!! Damned NECA, and damned Wizkids... Give me a truly Spider-Man once and for all!!!
I was Skeptical at first but after playing him in a tourney, I'm a believer. He didn’t take a single hit in 3 games and he gave some great damage. As long as the super senses roles are with you, there'll be no complaints.

Haven't had too much success with him, I hit his SS like 33% of the time :ermm:. He's good though but I prefer the ones with options like Flurry and Outwit.
Chime in on any of my posts. I appreciate any feedback. CasualClixin.com
Would be helpful to add the terrain description as well:
[quote]Web Special Terrain Marker: A character occupying this square must break away for movement purposes. Immediately after the character occupying this square no longer occupies it, remove this marker from the map.[quote]
uhm yeah i dont know who would say this figure is average- comic accuracy 5, playability- 4, sculpt-5
overall i would say that this is a five star figure and anyone who would say otherwise is dead wrong
I think this is the Spider-Man I've always been hoping to see. I've been a fan of Spidey for years and I'm a fan of Spidey clix too, so it's nice to finally see Spider-Man get his due. What does it for me is the fact that he has the SS trait that gives him a 50/50 chance to dodge an incoming attack! I feel toughness would have been nice but heck, throwing LMD on Spidey would do just fine. Otherwise, I think they finally got Spidey right. He has strong stats, great power placement and his sculpt is awesome too. I've seen some good Spidey clix, but this was is by far my favorite.
Smaug: "My wingspan will blot out the sun!"
Thorin: "Then we will fight in the shade."
This truly is the Amazing Spider-man. Not only is super senses a trait, but it succeeds on a 4-6! This is a solid piece. He isn't a heavy hitter, but it is a very reliable team member. Also, the ability to stop people with web shooters as a free action is fun!
Not quite perfect accuracy, but I like an elegant, simple dial. Being a wildcard pushes him over the edge from good to great. I would've payed around 100 points to get Indomitable on him, but he's more economical this way.
