I bought a brick of Armor, wanting to support the new Brick program and all.
I got a grand total of 2 uniques, and for a set called Armor Wars, I got an amazingly low number of armored characters (the whole reason I was buying ANY in the first place.)
I got one booster in which I got, no kidding, all Rookie figures.
I didn't buy another Brick until AA.
Easier to collect? Hmph!
Yeah, that sucks but is depressingly average of that set. lol. I didn't get a Vet Captain America. I was miffed.
100% is unrealistic. But the amount of problems we are hearing about or experiencing ourselves is unacceptable.
In all fairness, I would like to know if the errors we're hearing about fall within the "normal" margins for a set this size.
I agree that errors are frustrating, but loose dials and figures coming off of the tampos are both easy fixes and do not, IMHO, warrant an actual complaint.
Getting a SR card in a booster and not the SR is very frustrating and I can sympathize: I pulled a booster from my case last night and among the cards was a Morlun card. Alas, no Morlun (indeed, none of the cards matched the figures in the booster).
That said, I agree with what folk have already shared; a card will not a figure get you.
Re: identical collation. I've no idea how four additional SRs affectd the metrics for this set, but more than likely their inclusion set into motion the need for tighter collation. The result, identical bricks.
I think its a drag to end up with identical bricks, but as some have pointed out, it's the flip-side to a stronger collation model.
*shrugs*
All in all though, I am still pretty happy with the set.

Actually, identical bricks or cases (we shall refer to from here on as 'collation') isn't even a new problem, people just bring it up like it's new every set that comes out.

Me too, but you're always happy with things, Muncho.

Well, in all fairness, I'm an optimist by nature, I'm married to a hot, younger woman (), I have a great job, I am respected by those I likewise respect and admire, and I have much to be grateful for.
You tell me, how could I not be happy?

ORLY?
How can you say that? You have no idea what the amount of problems in relation to the amount of perfect boosters is? People don't generally come on and post about it when everything goes well, they only do it when they have a problem.
Who knows how many hundreds or thousands of boosters not missing a fig are produced for everyone that is?
I'm also not sure that you can consider duplicate cases a problem. I doubt that the product is designed with that in mind as the average purchase, and they never promised any sort of set distribution.

I agree with the sentiment if nothing else.
In all honesty, I experienced errors and what-not under the last two WK regimes, I have no reasonable cause to expect that the current WK will be any different in that regard.
That said, none of the errors I have experienced have been issues so large that I could not either deal with myself, or live with.
I think this issue, like so many others, is simply a matter of perspective.

I never said I thought duplicate cases were a problem. I experienced them in SWM long before Clix and accepted them as part of collation.
The cracked off figures aren't too bad. (Contents may shift during shipping.) I think the most egregious stuff is the mismatched cards and dials and stickers and pieces where the fig itself if broken or missing arms.
And the worst part is that you can't contact WK and get it fixed.

Yes, if you're coming from a perspective of not experiencing the issue you have no issue.
But if I HAD gotten a perfect Brick with no mistakes or broken pieces and I still read all these things that others are experiencing, I would change my perspective to one of "sitting in their shoes" and then realize that it sucks for them.

I can agree with that, but how far does empathy extend?
While I agree that it does indeed "suck" to be less than happy with something, I also have to weigh the expectations (and subsequent complaints) involved. If I conclude that the expectations (or complaints) were, perhaps, unreasonable in some regard, do I then have a duty to champion their cause, or instead offer the benefit of an alternative perspective?
I think you presume, or project, too much on this issue or upon those that happen to have a different perspective.

One of the few fields that hasn't been brought up in all of this is Psychology.
In my experience, when people are upset, it's not a good idea to immediately tell them they have no right to be upset or that what they are upset over is trivial.
Rather, the first step to any progress of any kind is validation.

I would happily validate any reasonable concern that was rationally shared, but not the sort of angsty, entitlement-happy whining that so often permutates online forums.

I guess it's a matter of perspective, but I really can't consider any of this egregious in the context of a $2.00 gachapon.
I can understand that in an industrial process where you're producing these things in the thousands the glue might not be applied perfectly to every arm joint. I can understand that in a complicated seeming (at least to me) process where cards have to be matched to figures that mistakes are made or line workers don't care too much if it's easier to just stick two Peter Parker cards in because they ran out of spider hulk cards.
I'm sure they could have someone check every package that came of the line and get near perfect quality, but what would you want to pay for that?
I can even understand the reluctance to have a redemption program. I'm sure the margin on these figures is already kind of low, and the costs involved in handling a single replacement probably counters the profits from the sale of multiple figures. Topps obviously sold WK because it wasn't profitable enough, so the new owners making changes to try to be more profitable doesn't surprise me.

THE SPIDER-HULK...Card. NO FIGURE. Instead of a spider-Hulk I got back to back venoms. BOTH boxes, like every other box we opened had the same characters EXCEPT I had a second Venom where my Spider-Hulk shoudl have been.
I got a Secret Invasion booster in my Secret Invasion brick with a Sentry card and Speedball figure in Sentry's place and another Speedball in the same booster. So trust me, I feel your pain.
