No Buy in- 400 points, "Silver Age." All characters are allowed, even Golden Age. All objects, and ATA's are also legal. There are no Feats or BFC's allowed.

All characters on your force need to share a common keyword. However, in honor of the Deadpool prize that is being offered for 1st place, one (and only one) character on your team needs to have a keyword different from the rest of the team!

The game for Saturday, April 23 at noon is:

No Buy-in: 400 points, Modern Age. All teams must have at least one dual-based character. That is a piece that takes up two squares. Clix from the Avengers set through GSX are legal along with all objects within those sets and all ATA's. No feats or BFC's please.

There will be extra peices at the store in case any of you newer folks don't have any in your collection. They can be fun and are definitely worth a shot! I will be taking the worst dial I can find and seeing if I can make it a contributing party on a team.

There are some old friends visiting the shop and they were allowed to make the rules for this week's game. It seems they have a recipe to see how good your teams are going to be based solely on the merit of the clix combined with your strategy.

No Buy-in: 500 points, Modern Age. All teams have to be a non-generic Theme-Team. Clix from the Avengers set through GSX are legal. Only standard light and heavy objects are allowed. No feats or BFC's please.

The game for Saturday, May 14 at noon:

Apocalypse Comics has a guest coming. He has sent word he wishes to brawl. We have accepted our guest's challenge only to be surrounded by a strange fog affecting everyone's range. As a result, we will be playing a 500 point, Silver Age All-Out-Brawl! The fog has removed everyone's range for all game effects including attack, perplex, telekinesis, outwit, porbability control and all other game mechanics including special powers. Accordingly, all game effects will have a locked range of zero. Only standard objects are allowed and players may bring any number up to four but no more than two standard heavy and two standard light. Prepare to do battle up close in the Mystical Fog & show our guest what the players at Apocalypse can do.

Silver Age- All figures and ATA's are legal (normally all objects are too but not for this specific battle). No feats or BFC's please.

The game for this Saturday, June 18:

600 point Theme Team- No buy-in. Modern Age- All charcaters and objects from Secret Invasion forward. No feats or BFC's please but ATA's are legal (Note: only one ATA per team is legal).

Generic Theme Teams require a minimum of 6 for 600. So teams with generic team words such as Scientist or Martial Artist will have to have at least 6 members for this game.

Named Theme Teams require a minimum 4 for 600. So teams with Named keywords (previously referred to as non-generic keywords) such as Avengers or Gotham City, will have to have at least 4 team members for this game.

The game for Saturday, July 2nd will be:

No Buy-in: 400 points, Silver Age- Pick Your Poison. Every player will bring two completely different teams to play. Before each game, players will roll-off (with no theme-team bonuses) and then pick which of his/her opponent's two teams that their opponent will play and the map they will play on. The second player then follows suit. So, each player chooses which of their opponent's teams they would rather play against.

Silver Age allows for all figures (even retired ones), objects, and ATA's to be played with no Feat Cards or BFC's.

The game for Saturday, July 9th at noon will be:

No Buy-in: 300 points, Golden Age- Clone Wars. Every member on your team needs to be the same character using the "Highlander" rule. The idea is that everyone on the team is a clone of everyone else.

"Highlander" rules apply meaning that you cannot have duplicates of the same numbered clix from the same set.

Golden Age allows for all figures, objects, ATA's, Battlefield Conditions, and 10% of Feat Cards to be played with no restrictions toward sets.

The tournament for Saturday, July 18 is:

$5 buy-in. 300 point Modern Age. This day promises to be more competitive than normal so bring all you've got! The 300 point Modern Age build is the most exciting game there is and players will be bringing the heat to try to win the top prize! Games will last forty-five minutes and there will be prizes randomly given away throughout the day.

Modern Age consists of all pieces, objects, and ATA's from Secret Invasion forward. No feats or BFC's please. Additionally, all 2' x 3' Wizkids produced maps with color designations for terrain and starting areas are legal. You are free to bring your own maps if you choose as long as they fit the legal description. I don't think Chad has any maps from the starter sets/fast forces packs available including the recent ones.

Captain America 300 point Sealed.

Each player will receive two boosters and be able to open them starting at 12:30. Games will begin at 1:00 and will be played one of the four Helicarrier Maps. Each game will last 45 minutes (the finals will run to completion) and be played by standard Wizkids Tournament Rules.

1st Place- AA Batman #99 (Chase) (Must have at least 10 participants)

2nd Place- Hellcarrier Map and Choice of LE

3rd Place- Choice of LE

The tournament for Saturday, September 17 is:

No Buy-in: 500 point- Modern Age, Sixes are wild! All characters will have a range of 6 regardless of their printed value. For example: Ultron and his 12 range will be 6 instead. Conversely, Juggernaut, with a 0 range will now also be 6. Additionally, all effects that have a range (such as Outwit and Perplex) will also be limited to a range of 6.

Just a reminder that Modern Age allows ATA's and special objects from Avengers forward but no feats and no BFC's. GOW and SF are allowed for this tournament.
