I like how this article makes a reference to the DiCaprio/Hanks movie, which had a reference to the Barry Allen Flash (alias used in the film).

I still can't believe people are/will be still complaining how this isn't a definitive Barry Allen, because this is clearly as good as it gets.

I like that we finally get a Barry Allen Flash. This will be one of the SR's that I hope to pull from the set. Yes, the pose is similar to the Icons one, but I like both sculpts. I can't field Icons in Modern Age. This SR will do just fine for me.

Finally we get Barry Allen; without a Starro, without a disintegrating skeleton, without a partner. Sad hes an SR, but I'll live. He's great, but I wish they would have made him ignore hindering...he can run up mountains, and a pile of rocks stop him in his tracks.

I'm glad we are seeing these to confirm the spoiled dials are legit. But I wish they would have gotten previews started alot sooner so that again their thunder was not already stolen.

But he won't be able to use his outwit before he hits with his SP.

The SP is an action, outwit is a free action but still can't use an action in another action.

He'll be able to use his outwit after he hits, not before. So he'll need another outwitter or some kind of way to get through damage reducers to be most effective.

Unfortunately, it's an SR and I already have a number of those on my "want" list.

As noted, there is no "movement".

You give him the action to use that special power, place him next to a character, make an attack, and then you can either stay in that square and make the second attack against the same target or place him in a different square and attack the same or a different opponent with the second attack.

That's it.

But he has his own outwit.
He could use outwit against Doomsday, use his flurry power to pop adjacent and hit him, then move away and hit someone else while keeping him lined up to use outwit against Doomsday again next turn.

No and no.

But using HSS and and flurry has nothing to do with Flash and would require it's own special power.
AA Zoom, for example, has a special HSS flurry combo that specifically allows him to use them together.

You're presuming that Barry will never have LoF before he begins his action.

I'm not saying that he always will, but I won't say he never will either.

He looks good. And he is not waiting for the bus. On that note: I am going to build a team called "waiting for the bus". It looks like this set will give me a bunch to choose from.

You're right, if he has line of fire before he uses his SP he will be able to use his outwit.
