So if I were to choose to switch friendly character A, which has one action token on it, with opposing character B, which has two action tokens, would the action tokens be removed when the figures are switched, or not until each player clears at the end of their respective turns?
Character B would keep its two tokens until the end of your turn, and would clear then since he hasn't been given any action token (oviously) during that turn. Character A would keep its token until the end of your opponent's next turn, unless of course he chooses to push it.

In the case where A team with Warbound gains a character which has the keyword used by Warbound, it should work like this. The "new" figure on a team which shares the WB KW would not be able to pass off tokens, but he would be able to receive them. Warbound specifically says that a figure assigned the feat can pass off the token. The "new" figure is not assigned the feat. (Even if he had it before, you can't use it now.) In the description of who can receive the token, there is no mention of that guy being assigned the card. That would mean it's ok to pass the token to someone meeting the conditions but not assigned the card.
In relation to this, we have the line about not using opposing feat cards even if you become friendly. That line shouldn't apply to this situation as the token recipient isn't the one using the card. (It's more like getting pinged by Darkness Within. I think you'd be hard pressed to say that the damaged guy used Darkness Within.)
So it works exactly like the White Lantern Hal Jordan situation. Thanks for clearing that up.
