Yeah, but needing a 9+ 1 out of 2 rolls (which is what I went in thinking because he had no PC instructions) is very different from needing it 2 out of 3 rolls. Unfortunatley, the way the league rules are though its supposed to automatically be used.
that is true, it is a much lower percentage. but by the same token, if you are playing in real life, your opponent isnt going to say "fyi, if you attack me, i wont pc it." or something. you basically take your turn not knowing when they will or will not use pc.
thats why i always use my pc as case-by-case. cause it gives me more of an advantage than if i were to exactly spell out when i would use it.

Yeah but we aren't playing in real time so the same token doesn't apply. I read not leaving PC instructions as saying "I won't PC anything this turn" but the league ruling is that means they will auto-use it on the first successful attack. Saying case by case is fine (I do it all the time) but saying nothing is not the same thing as that.
