When the Vengeance of Bane thread comes to an end, I am totally sending him to Gail...along with a list of all of his victims. The list was completely inspired by her phenomenal writing of the character.

This is worse than the cancellation of Firefly.

It looks like the Booster Gold solo won't get rebooted either.

Ugh, don't remind me about Red Robin not getting rebooted. Hopefully some of the new ongoings are going to be as good as they look. Gail Simmone is on two of them, so they should be good, at least.

My two regular reads are Secret Six and Birds of Prey, so this is just killing me. I loved everything about Secret Six: every character was unique, and Gail gave them all such terrific voices. Of course, Ragdoll was good for some kind of "hey, check this out" moment every issue. The dehydration dream in the trunk of the car is priceless: "oh my scars and garters, it's a Ragdoll day!"
