From the whatever happened to XXXX file, I figured I'd share my tale.

Mafia Info: I started playing after reading some game threads (particularly Stan's) and ended up signing up once and getting sucked in big time for about a year. I was never very good as a player - if I was a vigilante I'd end up killing half the town. If I was mafia, I couldn't lie to save my life. I can count the number of wins I've earned on one hand, and given that W/L ratio and my love of writing I decided modding seemed fun.

With dreams of grandeur, I choose Deadwood as a theme to run my first game, and boy was it way too complex and broad a theme for me to tackle. In hindsight, I should have gone with Deadwood: Season 1. I ended up continuing a series of Justice League mafia games after Ignatz's Satellite JLA mafia, and tried a few experimental games like Paranoia. I still have something like ten to twenty un-run games sitting in my email drafts, with complete characters and more.

Towards the end of my mafia days I really enjoyed Mag's anonymous games. I felt there was a lot of meta thinking involved on the HCR forums that took away from actual game play. Too bad the anonymous games suffered in participation. Still, I had a lot of fun with mafia on these forums.

For those wondering whatever happened to me: I'm not around much anymore as I've taken a job where I'm at work up to 14 hours a day without internet access. In short, I'd be a liability to whatever side I was working for (Town or Mafia) not being able to vote or missing my night actions.

I've worked in food production and manufacturing for the past twelve years, which means you might have eaten something I made, or that I had a hand in making. I'm contractually bound by an NDA so I can't talk about my job, what I make, or who I make it for. It kind of boggles me to think that I've connected to some of you not only through the articles I've written and games I've played through this site, but via your kitchens as well. I just know someone, somewhere has sat down to read a marquee primer I wrote while eating something I helped make. What a crazy world we live in.

Mafia Info: I started playing very recently--late 2011. In that short time I've managed to get on everyone's nerves and get constantly lynched as town. I like being a force for chaos, so if I don't have any idea of who to target, I'll try to cause a big/dumb chain reaction. I have fun playing despite my typically very short lifespan and I am quite eager to get into modding. Watch out.

Personal Info: I have been everywhere in Canada, I have done a lot of things, and I've been down there too. I am also bisexual, which I view as a central part of my identity. It informs much of my philosophy.

I'm currently finishing up a BSc in Psychology after taking too damn long on the way and changing majors twice (Engineering originally and Linguistics second, for the record). I spend what leisure time I have on Heroclix, D&D, assorted board games, and whatever else strikes my fancy at the time. I love hiking, which is convenient since I live right next to the mountains.

My greatest love in the world is music. I've been high on a lot of things, but the right music can give me a spiritual high like nothing else. There's fantastic, moving music to be found in nearly every genre, and my favourite music at any moment tends to be whatever affects me (I am using "affect" correctly here) the most.
Since I mentioned the term "spiritual" above, I should point out that while I believe in a divine creator, I am not remotely religious.

I have a pretty headstrong personality that can get caustic at times. I give as good as I take, but I don't hold grudges and I mean it when I apologise.

Mafia Info: I got into mafia late last year, when Kontrol, who I knew from the HCFL, ran his first game. I was a cop there and was very very lost. But I also became instantly hooked. I recently finished my first game as a mod, it was fun but time consuming. I will probably not run another game until I have easier computer access.
I am probably a very bad mafia player, I claim early,. I choose the wrong targets, I give in to pressure, but I love the game. Plus I cannot come up with a fake claim to save my life.
I love being neutral and having weird wacky win conditions. I also like having unique roles and I hate with a burning passion being vanilla.

Mafia Info: I began playing in December 2011, so it has been a REALLY short stretch for me. I did promise myself that I would not post here until I have had a win as town, neutral, and mafia, and I think I have achieved that now. I tend not to pick on players that are having it rough, but go after people who have had a recent win, but that is probably too telling, anyway. I also will try entirely new things so each game I come across differently.

Personal Info: I am an attorney, and I am fairly certain that I am going to relocate soon. I have atrocious spelling. I commute to Denver on a bus that has wifi, so I tend to do a lot of catching up on the internet there. The total round trip commute is about 3 1/2 hours. I know Immortal_Raven in real life, and we often play clix or other board games together. He got me into this game, so blame him.

I am married to the most wonderful woman and we have a cat. I am a libertarian politically, a christian religiously, and a jovial guy pretty much all the time. Christians get a bad rap for being anti-everything, but I am totally pro-people, so don't apply that stereotype to me, thank you. If I ever sound mean or nasty, just imagine me rolling my eyes and smirking, and you probably have it right. Locally, I am a clix judge.

Mafia Info As a newer player in Mafia, I feel like I should probably introduce myself. I have played in probably 15 or so Mafia games. I've won, maybe 3 of those, but I feel I am getting better. I like to be vocal while playing and like to work as a team to get things done when playing. I sometimes post multiple times in a row and change my votes around often, (if people haven't noticed yet). I find that I usually think things over a lot even after I say something on here and reconsider it. I have never run my own game, but am in the works of making a few at the moment.
Personal Info I am a student at a University in Michigan, not U of M, and am undecided with my major for the time being. I am in between business and broadcasting/film editing/ production at the moment. I find that I've always wanted to get involved in on set roles of film or television, so I think that is what I will go into, try at least. I love to be outside, playing sports, watching movies, playing Heroclix, girls, and living college life (if you know what I mean). I consider myself a "secret nerd", as even some of my best friends don't even know that I play Heroclix or that I have a mad obsession for Star Wars. Oh, and I am a huge grammar Nazi and love correcting people for their mistakes (probably one of my worst traits). I love talking and love giving advice to those who need it, so if you ever want to talk, I'm usually online making dials in the Dreams and Desires section or playing around on Facebook.

5. Click User CP on the left side of the grey banner near the top of your screen.

7. Scroll down and click the point next to Made Members under the part where you indentify yourself (at the bottom)
8. Then accept it and you're done.

Mafia Info: I was at a clix tourney in Jan, just watching, and decided to hop on realms to see if i could gleam any new strategies to use with my fav piece. Someone had something Thawmus said in their sig and it made me curious as to what the conversation had been at the time. It took me to a very old chit chat thread and as i read i couldn't help but laugh. I enjoyed the banter, teasing, sarcasm, and care. I finally found the current-at-the-time thread and enjoyed just reading along until i finally, uncharacteristically, added my two cents. I was welcomed and now I'm hooked on the group. Truffle invited me to play Mafia which i had never heard of until that day. I am currently playing in my first game and... ILOVEIT! I think i am addicted, and i have signed up for a few more games as well.

Personal Info: I'm a Nanny and have been for the past 16 years. I love children but am looking forward to being done with this career come Nov. Allot of changes in my life recently that i am looking forward to. I have lots of hobbies that i enjoy mostly revolving around crafts. I love to read but i am also a tv/movie junkie. Camping and hiking, amusement parks, and karaoke are some the things i like to do. In person i am kinda shy, quiet and reserved. That is one of the changes i am trying to make is to be more outgoing. And...I am almost always on if anyone ever wants to chat.
