i love how she plays, but i think she'd be perfect if instead of monkey joe having his own stats, he worked more like Larfleeze constructs and Squirrel Girl could make attacks through him. i think that's be more comic accurate too, cos it was her army of squirrels that took down foes like Thanos & Doom! so exploit weakness would be very comic accurate for them! :)

There is just somethign fun about pushing Monkey Joe to make an attack, letting him die from the pushing damage, then looking at your opponents face as you give Squirrel Girl an action to put out a new one all in the same turn, lol.

Played 2 Squirrel Girls with 2 Rocket Raccoons and Groot in a Tournament. Went 3-0 and with my Happy Tree Friends team. The Squirrels kept everyone tied down, the Racoons used their PC and Outwit and Groot just moseyed around the maps KOing everything in his path. So much fun!

With only Squirrel Girl left, I won a match by KOing Fast Forces Dr. Manhattan from his second click. It was glorious.

Infinity Gauntlet fully powered + Squirrel Girl = 99 points... Doom... Thanos, prepare to loose again to this power house lol

If shes equipped with the IG, does Monkey Joe get the bonus' too? I know if she's feated he does so...

No. Feats are assigned during force construction, before the game begins. Monkey Joe does not exist before the game begins. So Monkey Joe also could not use the Gauntlet

I'm going to try running her with the Utility Belt w/3 items to give her Indom and use the Suit of Sorrows to give her SS. Then I'll have Monkey Joe pilot the Military Tank. I can't wait to see my opponents reaction to this.

I approve of this. Except Monkey Joe doesn't have the requisite "soldier" keyword, or Sgt. Rock or Easy Company in his name. :(

So I played her on a 600 point team last night. I threw some random clix together because this guy wanted to see how his pieces worked together. I also used Runner with the space gem, Kang from Chaos War, and Fallen One from GG. Like I said random.

Anyway my opponent was using a spider-family team and had Mokk's Hammer on the board. I sent Monkey Joe over any tied up 175 points worth of his team for most of the game with just the squirrel. I made 4 SS rolls with him and hit three times killing one of his characters (the character that happened to be on the square for Mokk's Hammer). I then used leap/climb to break away from the character and actually picked up the Mokk's Hammer with Monkey Joe. My opponents reaction was like WTF? How can he hold it? My response was "because he is worthy." Monkey Joe was MVP for that game...granted my other clix did well, Kang did the most damage and was never touched. But Monkey Joe was awsome.

A very fitting dial for this character. So easily overlooked and yet dangerous enough that you shouldn't. Monkey Joe is just icing on the cake.

Fans of this character should look up The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug H004 Woodland Creature. It's a horde token that represents random woodland animals, and one of them shows a squirrel. Yes, a squirrel horde token.

Love her, cos when opponents use her, always get one shot. "Nooo, how could you do that?! Monster!"
