As a general question: Thoughts on anonymous games?

I like them in theory, as I think it is an interesting twist, but man, participation really takes a nose dive when you move off-site. Not sure what this means for the future of this format...

Anyways, if you like my games, I'll be running a Veronica Mars themed game next. Taking a break from my regular series. (because I just ran anonymous, Need more time to plan Mags' TV and I'm just not feel All Stars any more. I think that format is gone too).

I stopped reading after I got killed early and missed the JK claim. So by the time I got back and replaced ChiRocker, I couldn't very well ask what happened without giving away that I was a replacement. Then within like 3 posts after I die the second time comes the post about another JK in the game. WTF?

Then there was my first death, what the hell I made one post that should've clued the mafia that I was neutral.

On Sunday, so I was only playing for the last two days. I was worried the change in posting times might give me away.

My role was really boring for the first few nights.

But I pulled my first broken clock this game, which was totally awesome!

I went inactive for around A day and a half due to having issues loading both boards for some reason, then there was a nice quick lynch on me right before I got it working again. I'm sorry to everyone on both sides for the inactivity.

When you died I was like, "who, what, where?" I had no idea who you were but obviously you were playing like someone who knew what was going on. Welcome back.

I honestly wasn't too focused on figuring that stuff out. I thought you might be Stan or Charles, and at the end, I thought Great Dane might be Rokk, though in retrospect it's pretty clear it was Normalview with the various "how was your night" inquiries. I've noticed him doing that in several games. I was afraid I'd give myself away too much, and you have no idea how hard it was to keep down the ellipses. I think I only messed up once. I was probably still pretty obvious in my rationale and other posting habits. When Get was like "Scum move" it's not if/then," he was pretty obvious too. I also figured out that K-ness was Rottweiler based on something he said.

It's not that simple since you're not trying to figure it out. Plus some people try to seem like they're someone else. I only figured you out based on a phrase you said that I've seen you use in another game. In retrospect Tyro was pretty obvious too with his lack of capitals at the beginning of sentences.
