Hrm well I think that the question needs to be looked at under this light, how do you intend on useing mindcontrol? I'f you just wish to mindcontrol other people's figgures and make them dance, then by all means go with vet mandarin. I mean he has 12 range, he dose 4 damage, and a bloody wonderful attack value. He is a very happy figgure and while he may be expensive, you can definatly get your money's worth if you use him right.

Now if you want a cheaper solution to Mandarin I would personaly go with exp White Queen over Moondragon. This is mostly because I like mindblast thingus power. I also like being able to mind control someone if it is conveinent. If it isn't conveinet then shooting them is a peachy alternative.

Also the leader should be looked into as one of the gods of mindcontrol. Yes he dose have relatively low damage but once you perplex up his attack value it reaches 10 which is as good as everyone else that has been named. His range 6 is rather depressing but the fact that he has willpower can offest this quite a bit when you think about it. He could be used to marvelouse effect if you are carful. I am unsure as to how well he would do on a reverse taxi team. He is a little pricey but other than that I can see him becoming a bundle of happieness. Especily if you used a batman as a beatstick.

However, if you would like to use the reverse taxi stradigy where you mindcontrol somoene into a flaming pit of pain then you will most likely want to go with moondragon backed up with a vet checkmate medic. The problem that you can run into with the reverse taxi is that you will make the sacrifice and grabe a vet doom, then suddenly realize that you can't get doom to your own guys for execution. With moondragon you have the choise to either use mindcontrol to make them walk under thier own control, or tk to move them the extra mile should you of acidently moved to far fowards.

Okay I am just about done. It just occured to me that not everyone may be aware what a reverse taxi team is so I'll let you know.

Reverse Taxi: Originaly called the professor x shuffle, it is the stradigy where you mindcontrol someone and use thier movement to bring them base to base with some of your other charecters. Tradtionaly they are brough base to base with two B/C/F's and someone who is just a beatstick when it comes to damage...herc for example. Anyway it is a fairly brutal tactic that is good for killing figgures outright so you can avoid the hunt the medic game.

As for the unique elektra. The problem is getting her to that third click without someone running up and smacking her. You see once you are on that third click you may feel special but your hold on it will be tenouse at best. We have been playing with our unique elektra all night and while some magical things happen when she is on that click...it is both a signifigant chalange to get her there, and then to keep her there. That click looks snazzy on paper but using her with that intension is problematic.

On a personal note the key is my favorite mindcontroller. He's lucky.

Definately WizKids. They have mind controlled ALL of us into buying the game and to their credit obsessing most of us. We actually get online and discuss the game. If that isn't mind control Im not sure what is. Let's see:

MOVEMENT: not too fast but not too slow either (exp. keep coming every 3 to 4 months), with flying (how else are the shipments arriving here in PR? unless they had phasing which I doubt it... never saw it done in the comics :-P)

ATTACK: Although it starts very high (come on, every new set we spend a LOT of $$$$), the more clix one gets the less money is spent (to get the figures that are needed).

DEFENSE: All those clix of SuperSenses and Impervious must be working magic (trick dice, Im sure of it) cause they seem to do no wrong.

DAMAGE: Only to the players wallets. Maybe lovers lost (for lack of attention) or college/work time reduced. And it does perplex the mind as to..

as for the question... definately Prof X for doing MC but for versatility EXP White Queen.

But still...you all are missing a huge factor for moondragon...she has really low attack values after the first click...after that she is just a annoying clix...that is just sitting there...

but I do agree with Ando...Controller is awesome..but everyone has to seee....Veteran Puppet Master rocks especially with say a Robin on his team....

I see that the concensus among most people is that Moondragon is the best MC...but what you have to realize is that after a few clix she is really bad...but maybe that's for all clixs...except for one....VETERAN CONTROLLER...he has to be the most useful and offensive hitter out there alongside Gorilla Grodd and of couse...Veteran Puppet Master

actually i would say the two best mindcontollers are V brainiac 13 and darkseid. both can do more the just mind control. briniaic has 11 attack and rce for 4 damage, plus a decent 8 range and flying, all a very nice package for 133 pts. darkseid has everything controller has going for him and then some in a more predictiable dial with an 8 range. both figures would be the center piece of a 300 pt team but both can take it.
Mandrin is the best in marvel, hands down, though im partial to darkseid, gotta love that outwit and psychic blast for three on the same click

Veteran Puppet Master... when used with the right people he's awesome. 4 range is kinda constricting but if used with a couple of doombots, a batman enemy and experienced Klaw he's the man... he's a weakling with 5 clicks of life but for 12 attack mind control for 42 points he's cost efficient as well as handy with the team abilities.
