As far as War Machine being the definitive figure - there's always exceptions to the rule. And while he is the definitive War Machine in the game, he's "eh" to me. He's a good piece for the points, but there's a lot of other figures I'd rather use - and that probably is because of special powers. If he was in a regular set with special powers I think he'd have some powers that would make him more competitive.

I'd take it! Not sure why he's got Steal Energy, but why not!?

Take that Dial, and Make those first two Defense clicks with Impervious w/special evade, then change the two Defend clicks to Invuln, and give him a Trait that lets him see Stealthed figures and Now we're talking.

Take that dial, add nothing to it, take nothing from it, put it in a plastic bag and give it to me on FCBD.

^^^This. Charge in with a heavy and there aren't too many stealth punks out there that can walk away without needing a sack to carry their entrails in.

He gets super-double-duper senses instead. Better even than WoS Spidey. He has a 2/3 chance of ducking the attack altogether. I'll take those odds.
