Indeed. My lack of an apostrophe saddens me. Truly.
Let's hope one of you corrects this horrible thread title.
Back on topic, the Drills fall under the Larfleeze blanket. If there are two or more being played once the first is KO'd then all Drills are removed from the map. Am I correct on this?

When exactly do you place the special Drill terrain markers?
PLANETARY DESTRUCTION: When you reveal your force, you may place 3 "DRILL" special terrain markers on the map outside of starting areas. At the beginning of your turn, as a free action, you may deal 1 penetrating damage to each character occupying a square containing one of these markers. At the end of your turn as a free action you may place each of these markers into a square adjacent to its current square that doesn't contain another "DRILL" special terrain marker. When Imperiex is KO'd, remove these markers from the map.
Does revealing your force mean after you place your objects or before you place your objects?
If it is after, one could really have an advantage by placing the drill tokens on objects like the Gem or Mjolnir before the first person moves.

Does this mean they can move thru, A) Blocking Terrain from non blocking terrain?
B) Walls?(I know this is a no)
C)The rim of elevated? Can they take the stairs?

Neither game effect will apply to the drill tokens, so they cannot take the stairs.

BLOCKING TERRAIN
Blocking terrain represents areas and objects on the map with the potential to completely impede a character’s movement and line of fire. Any line of fire or path of movement that crosses blocking terrain is labeled a “blocked” line of fire or path of movement, the movement cannot happen and the line of fire is not able to be drawn through this terrain.
• Adjacency: Squares on opposite sides of blocking terrain are not adjacent. Two squares of blocking terrain adjacent to each other across the diagonal of an intersection would prevent adjacency between the two squares on the opposite side of that intersection.
• Movement: Blocking terrain prevents movement. Characters can’t move into or through blocking terrain.
• Line of Fire: Blocking terrain prevents a line of fire from being drawn between two squares. Any line of fire crossing a square of blocking terrain is blocked (except for a line of fire between two characters on an elevation higher than that of outdoor blocking terrain).
Wait, why is a)"no"? A square of clear (or hindering or water) terrain can be adjacent to a square of blocking, so as long as the drill is being placed horizontally or vertically and not diagonally between 2 squares of blocking, there shouldn't be any adjacency issues.

To illustrate above: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are blocking and D is a Drill in clear terrain. D is adjacent to 3 and 5 and should be able to be placed in those squares, but 3 & 5 block adjacency to 2 and D couldn't be placed there (until after it was in 3 or 5).

Umm i'm pretty sure this part of the rules for these tokens say that they can be moved into any adjacent square. it says nothing about hinder, blocking or elevated terrain...
so i figure you can move them into an adjacent square no matter what.

If 3 and 5 are blocking terrain, nothing can occupy those squares. That includes drill tokens (which are special terrain markers). This is one of the Golden Rules of Heroclix.

OK, thank you. Never really thought of it as applying to terrain markers, only characters. But now that I read it, I see I assumed (yes, I know ) wrong. Which makes sense, because otherwise I could put smoke cloud/hindering tokens in blocking, pointless as that would be, and I knew I couldn't do that.

But its a DRILL. I think because it says adjacent square and not adjacent terrain the drill can move to any adjacent square, regardless of terrain . example if superman is in a square next to a square with blocking terrain he is still adjacent to it. He cant move on it because of his own movement rules, but The drill tokens follow their own special rules... Just my take, I fell no terrain should stop a DRILL.

do these 'golden rules' actually state that a 'special' token can not be placed on top of blocking terrain? i know that adding realism to this game (or logic) is taboo, but i see the drills drilling underground (and thus, underneath any map feature) and then at the beginning of Imperiex's turn, he can choose to deal 1 penetrating damage to any character occupying the same square as a drill marker (as though the drill surfaces and inflicts damage to the target).
just wondering, not arguing normalview. hope my post didn't come off snarky.
"Tis better to push and take one damage, than to pass and get wiped off the map."
3) THE RULE OF OCCUPANCY Any game effect resulting in two or more characters
occupying the same square, or characters,
terrain markers, or objects occupying a square of
blocking terrain, is prohibited (except for Debris
markers, see Terrain p. 11). If part of a game effect
would cause this to happen, that part of the game
effect is ignored. If moving or placing a character,
terrain marker, or object would cause this, then
the character, terrain markers, or object must
instead move to or be placed in a different square.
What are Drill tokens? Special terrain markers.
Can terrain markers occupy blocking terrain? No.
Therefore, Drill tokens cannot occupy blocking terrain.

Has any one made any custom drill makers yet? Or does any one have a picture of these "Drills" so I can make my own.
The "Drills", in the comic, are actually Imperiex Probes that look just like smaller versions of Imperiex. Personally I think I'm going to use Galactus, Eater of Worlds' Cosmic Engine tokens for DRILLS (since Imperiex is basically DC's Galactus anyway).
