EVERYONE IS A JERK WHEN THEY LOSE!!!! & if you are not. then i don't want you on my team. stay away. i have no problem with someone who wants 2 win at all cost. but i hate someone who doesn't care if they lose. you are wasting my time & your's. if you don't care about doing anything well. then why show up?
This is a load of GARBAGE. I've payed games where at the end I've still had a good time, even though I've lost. I've seen other GOOD players do the same.
You're saying you hate me. Because I really don't care if I win or not. Well, I would hate to lose to you, because apparently you'd be a yutz about it. I don't want to be on your team. In fact, if you come to Utah, please don't come to either of my venues. I'll have you out the door before the first dice are rolled.
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
lol its a public fourm. & not i don't care what someone says 2 me if they win. i use it as fuel for next week's game. after games even the superbowel they shake hands. do you think the loser means it? no. i like that the patriots coach refused to shake rex ryan hand last year. the next time rex beat them again. all i'm saying. be a man. stop crying & take your lumps
Sure when a person loses in a superbowl game and he/she shakes hands with other players, that person might not mean it but you know what? Even in a super competitive sport the players put up the act of sportsmenship. Sportsmenship is everywhere, even in the US congress where the representatives viciously chew each other out, they still refer to each other as sir/ madam title. It's just part of maintain some semblance of order. I agree, someone who loses and just goes meh, I don't want them on my team. Someone who loses and completely goes out of control, I also do not want on my team. It's a competitive game true. By that definition it should have crazy team maximization and win at all cost ideals but it's also a game in a society, respect the bigger picture.

You can care about winning but be ok with losing at the same time. You don't have to be a jerk, its a choice you make. I got beat the other day and still was ok and had fun, it happens, oh well.
Not everyone is a jerk when they lose. If they are where you play, glad I don't play there.
To the OP, I would change up the tourney builds and scenarios as previously suggested.
Logan:I'm an X-Man and on 2 Avengers teams.
Mockingbird:How the hell do you do that?
Logan: Multitasking. Its my mutant power. Dont tell anyone.
Red Dragon has....lost....this thread. Nowhere did I say that these were tournament games. These are friendly games played at home. The player that I'm talking about pisses and moans about rules and such when he loses. He gloats and rubs it in your face when he wins. That's cornflakes!!!
Boy, I sure have pissed off a lot of people lately on the interwebs. Sorry to all.
What about calling them "Papillomas?"
i'm never rude to anyone who wasn't rude to me first. sorry but true. i believe to never disrespect anyone who is respectful. but if you disrespect me then... never start a fight but always finish it. & i'm sorry i don't have children but like shakespeare wrote in romeo &juliet. men's eyes were made to look. and let them gaze. stop trying to hide behind your children people. you don't want your children to see then don't put yourself & them in a place where you will have to act like a man.

then why invite him. i know he doesn't just show up over your house with a gun. & kidnap you all forcing you all to endear his antics
I'm fairly competitive--not over the top, but I do like to win once in a while, at least, especially if I know I'm generally the stronger player in a situation. However, losing to a player who only builds to win, whether you're competitive or not, isn't fun at all from any perspective.

I would not say he has lost this thread. I would like to point out the fact that he is exhibiting the typical aggressive nature and ideals that coincide with the competitive player persona in question. His involvement with this thread seems fitting.
Edit: Not that it is a bad thing to be like that. A competitive nature does go a long way in life....situationally.
"He's Predator Smurf! Not Happy Smurf or Gleeful Smurf or even PMSing Smurfette! He's Predator Smurf! What kind of attitude do you think he's gonna have?" -Songwriterz-

Oh for sure. The comments that reddragon is making sound exactly like the player in question after I called him out the other night.

Maybe he does show up to my house with gun. He did actually kidnap all of a us and put us up in his attics.
This should be teal.
then lock your doors & call the police... no call the RA. to stop this. there must be some rule you can hide behind. but serious. i'm not a jerk. i love this game as much as most other, but not as much as some. i just hate to hear all the complaining about help me run this competitive players out of the game. this game is for everyone. it belongs to no one but also everyone. let them play how they want. they'll get tired & leave on their. its not up to anyone to chase anyone off because you don't like their personality. & thats all this is about differences in personalizes.

LOL dude i was just kidding about the children part =P
But if we are going to quote Shakespeare he would have to say " Everyone ought to bear patiently the results of his own conduct." For if a man is needlessly cruel and outrageous to others then he should suffer the same fate.
Also he would probably offer to buy you a drink when he tells you to "Come, gentlemen, I hope we shall drink down all unkindness."
But then again, Shakespeare is but a man. What we're talking about is loads of philosophical work on the nature of civil discourse. Try john stuart mill's. I can also guarantee that there is no idea that one needs to communicate over aggression in a Heroclix game.
