1. Do you like and WANT alternate universe Heroclix (ie Flashpoint, All-Star Superman, All-Star Batman, Ultimate Universe, House of M, Guardians of the Galaxy future version, Earth-2, Marvel Zombies, What If?, etc.)?
2. Which Flashpoint characters were sorely missing in Superman?
3. Which All-Star Superman characters were sorely missing in Superman?
4. Would you like to see more Flashpoint characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
5. Would you like to see more All-Star Superman characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
6. Which alternate universe(s) do you think "deserves" many more Heroclix pieces?
1. Very much so yes. I'm quite fond of alternate universes.
2. Haven't read it, don't know.
3. Haven't read it, don't know.
4. Sure, why not? As I said I haven't read any Flashpoint, but Citizen Cold and Canterbury Cricket seem pretty nifty, and I won't say no to unmade characters.
5. There are plenty of other DC characters I'd rather see, but I wouldn't balk at more.
6. I don't know a thing about deserves, but I'd love to see Red Son characters. I'd also like to see the main cast of Batman: Holy Terror as silly as they were, and I'd absolutely freak out with joy if a Feral Man of Steel was made.
1. Do you like and WANT alternate universe Heroclix ?
Sure! I think such figures are a nice way to break up some of the monotony of figures that would otherwise have very common power sets.
2. Which Flashpoint characters were sorely missing in Superman?
I didn't read very much Flashpoint, but any version of Shade the Changing Man is overdue.
3. Which All-Star Superman characters were sorely missing in Superman?
Jimmy Olsen
4. Would you like to see more Flashpoint characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
It wouldn't bother me, but I want more Legion of Super-Heroes more.
5. Would you like to see more All-Star Superman characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
I've pulled out All-Star Superman to reread, but I'd appreciate more of Grant Morrison's alternative Superman versions.
6. Which alternate universe(s) do you think "deserves" many more Heroclix pieces?
It's hard to argue against the popularity of Age of Apocalypse, even if it is not my cuppa. There are several excellent character designs from Kingdom Come that would be good for HeroClix. Again, this is not my favorite story, but it is extremely well-remembered.
To the OP - I like the Alternate Universe pieces in heroclix sets. To me, part of the fun is when the figure you own has something interesting you can say about it. Everyone knows Superman, but not everyone knows about Kal, or SOD Superman, or Project: Superman. So these are nice additions.
What I, and many other people wanted though, were characters from DC's Red Son (Elseworlds) storyline. Soviet Superman, Wonder Woman, Batmankoff and the Green Lantern Marine Corps. This is supposed to be Earth-30 in the DCU.
Have you read Red Son? It's one of my favorite elseworlds graphic novels. Soviet Superman is like the golden age superman, and has super intelligence apart from his other powers.

1. Do you like and WANT alternate universe Heroclix (ie Flashpoint, All-Star Superman, All-Star Batman, Ultimate Universe, House of M, Guardians of the Galaxy future version, Earth-2, Marvel Zombies, What If?, etc.)?
Sure! Why not? I figure it's been a part of the game - we've gotten Age of Apocalypse, whatever Earth the Crime Syndicate was from, and lots of other alternate universe characters from the outset.
2. Which Flashpoint characters were sorely missing in Superman?
I would be happy to answer this but I had no idea what was going on during Flashpoint. I'll just say Cyborg, he was in there. Cyborg is cool.
3. Which All-Star Superman characters were sorely missing in Superman?
Doomsday Jimmy Olsen? Krypto for sure. Atlas and Samson, maybe.
4. Would you like to see more Flashpoint characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Just because I didn't know what was going on and didn't care doesn't mean other people don't like it. Let's see some more!
5. Would you like to see more All-Star Superman characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Considering I think that All-Star Superman is one of the best and most definitive Superman stories ever written, yes. Yes I do. You may disagree with me and that is your right but I submit that you do not like comics if you do.
Come to think of it, I want a Superman that can shoot smaller Supermen out of his hands. A one-man swarm team.
6. Which alternate universe(s) do you think "deserves" many more Heroclix pieces?
Red Son. New Frontier. Gotham by Gaslight. Future Avengers (I want an old man Tony Stark). Ultimate Marvel (I want Miles Morales).
You should listen to Geekspeak. It might change your life or something.
Also, I write about Heroclix for Lost Hemisphere as HostBryan.
1. Do you like and WANT alternate universe Heroclix (ie Flashpoint, All-Star Superman, All-Star Batman, Ultimate Universe, House of M, Guardians of the Galaxy future version, Earth-2, Marvel Zombies, What If?, etc.)?
Yes! I've been waiting for a larger selection of alternate Marvel (What If?) characters since the Ultimates set. DC gets a heap of Elseworlds-based characters. Marvel? Mostly Ultimates and AoA.
2. Which Flashpoint characters were sorely missing in Superman?
Cyborg! Queen of Fables could have vacated her spot for Vic.
3. Which All-Star Superman characters were sorely missing in Superman?
Krypto, and a Samson and Atlas duo (dual dial).
4. Would you like to see more Flashpoint characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Cyborg will complete the main roster. I'd rather see other slots go the characters that have not been made, yet.
5. Would you like to see more All-Star Superman characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Other than Atlas and Samson, no.
6. Which alternate universe(s) do you think "deserves" many more Heroclix pieces?
Marvel "What-If": All of them! DC has already covered all of their best Elseworlds characters. Superwoman and Batwoman would be nice to see, though.
Wolverine: Lord of the Vampires, and a symbiote-controlled Thor must come first!
I'm a fan of alternate realities in comics, so I'm interested in more Flashpoint clix or All Star or whatever other Elseworlds stuff. Unlike everyone else posting it seems, I'm happy we got Element Girl. She's an interesting minor character that I wouldn't have thought would be clixed.
We did need a Flashpoint Cyborg, Canterbury Cricket, Citizen Cold, Hot Pursuit, Joker, NOT Zoom or Reverse Flash though. (At the end it's revealed he had nothing to do with Flashpoint)
All Star Superman needs a Jimmy Olsen: Project Director for a Day, Dr. Quintum, Samson and Atlus. Although I hesitate to call All Star an Alternate Reality so much as an idealized take, but it has no effect on how good the story was.
Red Son needs to happen in a bad way, the CSA could do with a remake, I'm not much into E-2 but there are enough people on here that would go for it and it would get me a new PG, New Frontier would be a cool subtheme that would take everyone by surprise I think.
There is more than enough quality stories in the Alternate realities to make a 35-45 figure set each for Marvel and DC. I know I'd shell out cash for an "Elseworld's Finest" set.
On the upside, if Multiversity comes out then I'd expect some clix based off it. So that's one way we can get our Elseworlds fix.
[quote=brevard321;5924895]Hi all, I'm very under the weather today. Just wanted to start a discussion on the "alternate" universe stuff we saw in the Superman set for a slight cheer up!
1. Do you like and WANT alternate universe Heroclix (ie Flashpoint, All-Star Superman, All-Star Batman, Ultimate Universe, House of M, Guardians of the Galaxy future version, Earth-2, Marvel Zombies, What If?, etc.)?
Nothing comes to mind really, Age of X maybe but I really don't care either way while we're missing the real "Plural" Manhunters and things of that nature.
2. Which Flashpoint characters were sorely missing in Superman?
Cyborg, grifter, maybe evil plastic man. Thing is, flashpoint, was meh to me.
It didn't go bad, but altogether meh. No lasting change, and the minis didn't affect me like AoA. So I really don't miss any of them.
3. Which All-Star Superman characters were sorely missing in Superman? Olsen and that rich guy in the technicolored coat.
4. Would you like to see more Flashpoint characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Not really, I'd rather have the modern Cyborg in Nu52 than one which is based off a very limited window of material
5. Would you like to see more All-Star Superman characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Sure, why not. DC 1 Million superman is joke. Fixit
6. Which alternate universe(s) do you think "deserves" many more Heroclix pieces?
Make a Red Son superman if not to shut up everyone.
How about the Planetary heroes and villians for alternative universe. Or the Avengers team from The Authority comic. If the Alternative Cap taking liberties with a unconsious Apollo doesn't scream EW I don't know what does

1. Do you like and WANT alternate universe Heroclix (ie Flashpoint, All-Star Superman, All-Star Batman, Ultimate Universe, House of M, Guardians of the Galaxy future version, Earth-2, Marvel Zombies, What If?, etc.)?
Sure, to the extent that I like the stories. Don't care about Flashpoint or Zombies one way or the other, and All-Star Batman is the worst thing ever; on the other hand I hardly even consider Earth-2 to be an "alternate" universe.
2. Which Flashpoint characters were sorely missing in Superman?
I only really care about Flashpoint insofar as I was exposed to it via Booster Gold, so Alexandra Gianopoulis is my only answer. Of course, if she really does appear post-Flashpoint, that version would make a lot more sense.
3. Which All-Star Superman characters were sorely missing in Superman?
I wouldn't have minded a Jimmy Olsen Doomsday! But I think most other characters who made just one appearance in All-Star and aren't well-known in "normal" continuity would just be too obscure, even for me.
4. Would you like to see more Flashpoint characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Not me personally, but I wouldn't mind other fans getting thrown a Cyborg or something.
5. Would you like to see more All-Star Superman characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Nah. I mean, it was a great surprise to get them in Superman and I'm ecstatic we got as many as we did, but there aren't many characters left that I can think of who can't be represented by their "regular" versions.
6. Which alternate universe(s) do you think "deserves" many more Heroclix pieces?
Earth-2, hands down, if you consider that an "alternate" universe. More of the core Exiles would be nice. My main desire for alternate universes is that they make enough figures to field a team from that universe. It's hard for me to get into alternate universe figures when I can't field a proper team with them.
1. Do you like and WANT alternate universe Heroclix (ie Flashpoint, All-Star Superman, All-Star Batman, Ultimate Universe, House of M, Guardians of the Galaxy future version, Earth-2, Marvel Zombies, What If?, etc.)?
Yes I do! But prefer them in addition to normal universe characters, not instead of.
2. Which Flashpoint characters were sorely missing in Superman?
Cyborg's the biggest. I would have liked to see some more oddballs like the Cricket, or Grifter, or something Long those lines.
3. Which All-Star Superman characters were sorely missing in Superman?
I was really pulling for Leo Quintum
4. Would you like to see more Flashpoint characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Eh, maybe here and there, but the story has come and gone so I doubt we'll see any more
5. Would you like to see more All-Star Superman characters in future DC Heroclix expansions?
Same as above
6. Which alternate universe(s) do you think "deserves" many more Heroclix pieces?
I've always been fond of Earth-X. And they're all wildly different versions of characters, so it'd be something new.

Just felt the sudden urge to correct a mistae that never fails to annoy me.
The Red Son Superman would be the SILVER AGE Superman (who always claimed to have Super Intelligence in addition to all his other countless powers). The GOLDEN AGE Superman would be the Unique Superman from Origin who was more powerful than a locomotive, could leap tall buildings in a single bound and was able to withstand a bursting artillery shell.
The Silver Age Superman juggled planets for fun, cleaned his suit by flying through the sun and used super-ventriliquism to talk in space. There's a *big* difference between the two

From the ashes of Paragon City... it rises!
My stance has been, is, & always will be this:
If the character has ever appeared in a comic book, make it.
I don't care if they're the anchor of the entire company, some alternate universe/timeline, from a previous continuity, just different costumes, were only ever glimpsed in 1 panel, etc etc etc.
I don't even care if I like the character.
That said, yes, there are characters that I want more/sooner than others....
And I would prefer to see as many never before clixed characters as possible per set.
But when those "others" get made ahead of my wants (and they will)?I'll just be happy for their fans.
Marvel "What-If": All of them! DC has already covered all of their best Elseworlds characters. Superwoman and Batwoman would be nice to see, though.
Wolverine: Lord of the Vampires, and a symbiote-controlled Thor must come first!
Can't we have spider-ham too? I'd like to see an SP on him that has to do with his thought balloons.
Come to think of it, I'd also like Apache Chief to be made into a clix.

Ah! Thanks for enlightening me on this - I stand corrected. Sorry to have annoyed you. I always thought that the distinction between the two was that Silver Age was more on power while the Golden Age one was more on intelligence. I never got to read a continuous storyline of Silver Age superman. My Bad.
Thanks!

This. All kinds of this.
Oh man, we got a Negative Man and a Jimmy Olsen? Now I need to think of a new signature after all these years!
