Hurray!! I'm on the first page of an Ogre thread!!
I, of course, read it 40 posts at a time. Those of you still on a lower posts per page count may see me on page 2 or even 3. For that I say, "For shame!!"
Isn't it much better that way?

I don't think 40 posts per page would appeal to me all that much. I like having things broken down into the smaller batches.
I may go back to smaller pages -- I switched to 40 with the previous thread. The only thing to be said for more posts/page is that it doesn't appear as immediately onerous to catch up a thread if one's been away for a day if one sees a smaller number of pages. Complete and utter illusion, but, really, that's how most of us deal with a great many things each day.
Also want to point out that I still have some Random Number Generators left. I have a bunch to send out on Saturday and some people may still have to pay.
Not prompted by impatience, just a desire to better know what to expect, were you able to get the ones I bought last week out in the mail at the end of the week as you'd expected?
Boy, did that last thread seem to go by fast! Maybe it was me not chiming in that often. Regardless, just checking in the new thread before I head out for my long drive to Jacksonville. Blah...

Man, I tried to respond to your Jonny Quest question but you closed the other thread too quickly.
I don't know how to quote from other threads so:
Boomerang was showing a version of J.Q. where they were palling around with some kind of weird lava/rock man who looked like he belonged on He-Man. It really destroyed the ambience of the show.
I seem to remember a version where Race had a goofy Southern good ol' boy accent also.
I'm sure Wikipedia will have all the details, but I'm feeling extraordinarily lazy today.
I know they did at least two later series based on the '60s show, none of which worked at all as well for me. I know that at least in one they decided they needed some attempt at gender balance, so they came up with a girl to hang out with Johnny and Hadji. (Race's daughter?)
IIRC the big stone guy (where they picked him up I have no idea) was called "Hardrock."

I hope the weather down there's more inviting than the gray skies and drizzle we appear to have going on up here today. It's one of a few signs that today may turn out to be a day I'd have been better off staying in bed for a while longer and then not gone out anywhere.
While I wouldn't claim that I bound out of bed each weekday, looking forward to heading into work, this day seems much more foreboding and simply "off" than usual.
Any Hallowe'en Points for this? (I love Candy Corn. Yum)
I love candy corn too.
Did you create and/or buy and wear that shirt? If you did, then you get points.

You still interested in playing a game tonight? I have a team in my car.

It's one of those candies I'll eat a few pieces of each year, it makes me cough, and I remember why I don't go looking for it the rest of the year.
That said, there are better varieties of it out there, though I've not done a comparison by name to know which brand is best and which is practically wax.
