the way i see it : it's free, so it don't give you tokens, okay, but double power action need 0 tokens to trigger (even free) and you have one.

There is no rule saying that you can't give a figure a double power action when it has a token.

There is a rule saying that you cannot give a figure an action that would result in there being more than two tokens on it.

The result of giving a free action is no more tokens, so you are fine to give it as a free action, even if the figure has 1 or 2 tokens.

So, a figure with no token on it that takes a double power action and that doesn't have indom, willpower, power cosmic/quint, or specific wording in the power that states no damage from it would take pushing damage? (Might be a dumb question, but I too need to print out the new rule book.....)
