First off, both the M&M Apocalypse & XP Apocalypse need "Horsemen of the Apocalypse" keywords, especially since the new colossal has it

Second, MM experienced cable's keyword of "new warriors" was obviously a mistake, can we please get that change to "new mutants"?

Third, MM experienced Sasquatch, she should really have "exiles" keyword, its Heather not Walter, the support on the dial says it all (plus the white fur)

And lastly, UL Phoenix, Rachel should really get "Excalibur", i mean she's wearing the same suit she wore while on the team for goodness sakes, "hellfire club" makes very little since as a keyword over "Excalibur".

Again, no change=no change. A lack of errata does not indicate a change in playability. That said, it sounds like he may actually need errata. If that is that case, we do have the final word forum to tide players over until the next pg hits, so if it is necessary, we'll get something posted there.

And having one version with the keyword is not an argument that the other version need it. Should every version of Beast have the Avengers keyword because some of them do? Apocalypse has appeared in comics many times without his Horsemen. Who is to say that these figures don't represent a time that he was operating alone?

Also, if I recall correctly, it was stated that Wizkids does not intend to change the keywords of any figures that already have cards unless it was a clear error. (That would be something like a character getting a keyword with typos, or getting the wrong keyword completely. A designer choosing to not use certain keywords does not fall into that category.)
This was already changed. You need to look at the uncarded figures keyword document, which can be found in the downloads section on heroclix.com.
I'm not familiar with either of those. But given the fact that the keywords were recently updated and they were left alone, I'd say that's a decent indication that the current design team at least does not think that they are in error.

This actually was officially changed five months ago when the revised keyword list was released. And Sunspot was changed from New Warriors to New Mutants as well...

I know that no one else really cares, but I'd love for the Critical Mass Experienced Brood Warrior to get the 'Warrior' keyword it is "supposed to"... Both the Rookie and Veteran have the 'Animal, Brood, Warrior' keywords, and for some reason the Exp has a redundant 'Brood' rather than 'Warrior': its keywords are literally 'Animal, Brood, Brood'. I just seem to have 20 points to fill on my Warrior teams so often, it's scary...

But I love the new CAP ATAs, and always get a kick out of perusing the new Player's Guides! Thank you Rules Doods for all the hard work you put into this!

Why would you expect those characters to get keywords added in this update? Is there something I'm missing?

Unless that figure is supposed to be "Wanda" (from the "Sasquatch switched his gender" arc) or Snowbird (from Alpha Flight v1 #23), it's probably Heather, and thus probably an Exile.

Curious about a lack of clarification for KC Magog ??? 16 pages of discussion and no one felt it needed to be clarified ? My local judge won't allow him to be played properly until it is listed in the PG, because he doesn't see it that way......

Notice that there are only two entries, period, for Superman. One is about Zod (and as one of the earliest previews, it has been around for quite some time) and the other fixes a typo in a keyword.

Very rarely does the first PG release after a set is released cover any real clarifications or issues with the newest set; they tend to just have the text for the character cards. In other words, there are several other things from Superman, beyond Magog, that will still need to be addressed in the next PG.


As far as your Judge not accepting the Final Word ruling on Magog, well, that's his perogative as the Judge (like any house rule). If you feel like it must be addressed right away, you can show him the FW entry again and then show him the part in the Comprehensive Tournament document that says that forum rulings by the RA and Deputies are official rules communications.

Not bust your bubble. But i believe that flatmatt is right. In the article he only mention STREET FIGHTER, it brings a question if HALO and GEARS OF WAR were consider modern age don't you think, the article would have mention all 3? Unless they made a mistake of not mention it.
